#5 TF2: my FPS got stuck at 10 and not moving at all. in Q/A Help
love-whats ur graphics card?

I run DirectX Diagnostic this time, cause this one shows the graphic card better than the CPU-ID abit:

PathogenLooking at the screenshots, I noticed your custom cfg files (Scout, Soldier, Regen, and so on) are located in the root cfg folder:

...\Steam\steamapps\common\Team Fortress 2\tf\cfg

instead of a custom cfg folder that TF2 would scan. For example:

...\Steam\steamapps\common\Team Fortress 2\tf\custom\my_custom_stuff\cfg

Moving them to the correct directory may not fix your 10 fps problem, but it would be a good start.
FireStarwPutting your cfg in custom as opposed to the root cfg folder just means steamcloud won't mess with it. (and it loads first) However it might be that you have config in both directories that have a conflict.

Still the same :/
I'm done with this laptop...

Hey, btw, I got these command lines after clicking on then shut away the "Options" button.
Please notice those red lines only:

#1 TF2: my FPS got stuck at 10 and not moving at all. in Q/A Help

Hello everybody, I'm a new comer to this site, I just need some assistance for this problem.

First of all, please accept my apologize that English is not my first language, so my grammar is pretty bad and I'm not really good at expressing my thoughts to others, hope you all can forgive me about this.
Secondly, I want to thank you if you are thinking about help me out, I am very appreciated it. :D

So, let's get to the point.

It was just 4 days ago, since I last play this game, I opened 6 tabs of Chrome and listened to music and played the game at the same time, the FPS was just fine at about 100-150, even in a big firefight, with High Quality settings, DirectX9+.
Please note that I am using a laptop, and I've set my battery power option to "High Performance". And here are some pictures of my spec:

But today, I have encountered a problem which is my TF2's FPS dropped down to 10 and it just stuck at there, not moving a single bit.

I've already tried these options, but none of them work, still that 10FPS:
- Lowered the settings by using Chris's highframes config.
- Verified integrity cache, got 2 files missing, but Steam downloaded them already.
- Removed all the custom files, run the game, then added it back in again.
- Restarted both Steam and my PC.
- Changed the DirectX level to 80 and 81 (in the Set Launch Options tab), but the FPS increased only a bit, approximately to 28FPS.

If anyone can help me out with this, I would be very appreciate! :D

P/s: I'm living in hell now, cause just started grinding the hardest soldier jump map and shits like this already happened. :/
