Switching HUDS is fine! I do recommend learning how modify and fix stuff, since it'll let you stick with HUDs you like a bit longer and let you use ones without features you'd normally 100% want. (HL Scoreboard and Uber% behind Label for me)
The only real definite way to stop spies is to get in their head. Most good spies watch what you're doing and try and pick the best time to try something, whether it be a pattern you're developing or a timed distraction.
Playing spy helps a lot with this, cause you know what to be looking out for in stabs.
You can fake a pattern and suddenly mix it up while keeping your ear out extra when you're doing the pattern. If the distraction comes in and you're not the only person who can deal with it, scan for other threats trying to clean up or take advantage instead.
It definitely helps remind you of spy time and potential imminent threats, but I don't think getting THAT used to it in a pattern is ideal.
Flagged for full access! :)
There was an internal survey for Gamestop employees that guaranteed access and that's probably what did it for me.

I'm looking at this just confused that these people have their Attack On Titan backpack hangers on their counter.
There's literally like 100 different things that are better suited for being at the POS, especially on CoD launch day.

Preorder comes with a poster btw and it's pretty nice. Winston on one side and Tracer on the other.

spyro has played pyro for a very long time, including on dK and jk! in plat, along with helping run pyro roundtable discussions a while back.
He knows what he's talking about about.
You are all excellent people and this LAN was even more fun than last years which I didn't think would happen.
Shoutout to Shdwpuppet and fragile for making the tourney run as smoothly as it could even with all the people issues + delayed start.
HildrethAll the good teams die or something? How come?
*Look at UGC changes to maps/unlocks/league structure*
Oh makes sense
Trust me when I say the changes to the whitelist are overwhelmingly positive and teams are mostly just taking breaks because no playoffs for this one season.
There's a little blue trail that points to where they're Glitching to as well, so you can react to that. I'm really liking the game balance atm, movement feels smooth as hell, and the specializations add an interesting dynamic, Haven't had any trouble getting into playable games in TDM (but there's been weird audio bugs in all the post-rounds for some reason)
It's very good, but the Natascha is still super viable as well.
For more supportive heavy play, Tomislav is REALLY good. Lets you do your job from further away, which lets you take less heals while dealing out equal damage. Natascha is also good for this, because the slow is just as important as damage and lets your teammates deal frags easier while you take fire off of the actually important classes on your team.
For a tanky combo-focus style of play, Natascha or Stock are both ideal depending on what kind of tight combo heavy you wanna play. Stock for when you want to be the focus of the combo, since you can actually get close enough to deal the damage (ALTHOUGH THIS IS AN OLD WAY TO PLAY, EVERY OTHER CLASS IS BETTER THAN YOU), and Natascha for when you want to last longer in big team fights to let everyone else commit through behind you and call focus targets easier.
So, for the optimal (imo) way to play HL Heavy, Tomislav and Natascha are the kings atm. Stock can still work, but you can do more if you play to the new miniguns strengths.
Shit talk about the game or gameplay is fine, IMO. As soon as you talk about someone's personal life, I think it's gone way too far.
"what the fuck were you doing, you idiot?" is on a different level from "heard your girlfriend broke up with you, how does it feel to be a small dicked retard?"
Edit: also being friends with the people on the other team changes things a bunch, of course. but that's seen more as banter than straight shit talk
i love playing videogames
