for some reason ath-a500x sells for around $120 here and the m40x sell for $90, my budget is just around $120.
Is the a500s better than the m40x??

What about the ath-a500x (or the closed version)?? I've never used a pair of open headphones so I don't know how they sound, but I read that they are better for gaming.
M40x look good, do I need a amp or anything like that to power it??
Also how much of a better sound am I expecting, will it destroy my clouds in sound quality?
Gir_affeguyaudio technica ath m50x.
Your welcome.
its a little bit too expensive for me tbh, is there anything cheaper
Using Cloud 2s and want something better (no need for mic i hv 1 already)

What if I just want to upgrade for better performance in basically most things, what's the best CPU+RAM+MB combo I can get for $400
R5 or R7 ???

Yeah, not the same mobo.
They don't have to be the exact same parts.
So which CPU did you decide to got with?
If it's the 1800X and you're willing to overclock you could go with the 1700 and not have to worry about a cooler.
Ignore the SSD and HDD, similar ones can be found in any shop.
Same for the mobo.
If you've decided which shop you'll use, be it alternate.dk or something else (possibly cheaper options), then I can just use that one. No price comparision site needed anymore and I don't have to worry about shipping so it's easier for me too.

Current CPU?
How many fps are you getting, how many do you want?
Is the CPU at 100% all the time or just spiking?
GPU usage?
currently on a i5-4460
around 100-120 on OW,60-80 on PUBG with dips as low as 30 (part on this can be blamed on the god awful optimisation of PUBG tho), aiming for 144> in OW to go with my 144hz monitor
GPU is around 70% iirc (not on the PC atm) while CPU is hitting 100%
I would like to upgrade my CPU to something better, hitting 100% in overwatch and PUBG isn't fun ,budget is around 500 dollars (including CPU,motherboard and 16GBs ram).
Thanks mr setsul
also the problem of the low fps persists,~100 in an actual match, 50% gpu usage while cpu goes up to 98%
settings are all low,100% render scale
specs are still the same
i also have rainmeter running, could that be the reason?
sorry for necroing the thread but when i turn down the render scale in overwatch the fps DOES NOT change at all, it stays at around 230 inside practice range when I'm using 50% or 100%.
