I agree with you, Conductor. 50% is a pretty big chunk. But considering that most people streaming TF2 aren't doing this for money, it's probably not a big deal.
Honestly it just seems like a way to show support for the streamer, which is really cool. And if it continues the trend of the other subs, it would be cool to have site-wide Twitch faces.
Also based Ruwin he streams for 3 days, gets a billion concurrent viewers, and allows John to go to his boss and be like yo check this shit out TF2 is goin HUGE get him, that b4nny guy, and kurt a sub button eh?

We're looking for people who consistently stream throughout the course of a single week as per the guidlelines listed here: http://teamfortress.tv/forum/thread/6317-teamfortress-tv-listings-and-twitch-tv-team
You would think that we could add all of the stream requests, but there's limitations to the Twitch API that have forced us to be more selective. Thus, we're choosing to only add active streams.
If things change, feel free to make a new post or bump this thread for reconsideration.
