If the US was a true democracy the president would pretty much be decided by California, Flordia, Texas, New York, Illinois and like 2 other states

Also if you were to elect Hillary you would have elected a woman who deleted 30,000 emails from a private government server, something that if any one else did they would be in jail for the rest of their life

I'd like to preface this by stating that I didn't vote for Trump, Hillary or any third party, but you are wrong. Just because people agree with Trump one on thing doesn't mean they agree with him on everything.

People were already keeping an eye on states like Florida and even at the end of the election Pennsylvania. There is no doubt that Texas and California weren't changing which party they were giving their votes to this election

Also votes don't matter in certain states such as Texas and California where Texas has historically been Republican and California has hisotorically been Democratic.

Oh trust me, I don't think it will happen but this isn't a complete overreaction to Trump getting elected, this has been thrown out there since Brexit happened back in June. But at the same time you underestimate how crazy some of the people who live here are. There have already been massive protests on college campuses here and I don't even want to check Facebook or other social media to see what people are saying/feel about the election

Going off of what DarkNecrid said, you're right they have been issues for a while. But look at Trump's stance on global warming. California has already been in a drought for a long time and not caring about global warming or doing anything to mitigate it isn't helping the problem and since the primary product produced here is food being in a drought isn't helpful.

Yeah it's pretty out there, The biggest issue is that California has the sixth biggest economy in the world and has double the GSP/GDP of Texas and New York and three times as big as Florida.

Leaving would be an issue though, but what can you do when literally 70% of the state is democratic and popular vote doesn't matter here

So now California wants to secede from the US because Trump won, although there has been talk about this since Brexit back in June

I don't know how different Canadian Uni is from American Uni but generally the first year of school is just general education with one or two classes of yoru choosing thrown in unless you are overloading. I used to play a shit ton when I was in my first and second year because I had easy classes but once you get to upper level classes i.e your schedule is just full of uper div comp sci classes or in my case chemistry classes you run out of time to play as much as you used to.
