SetsulSorry, I skipped straight to the GP14.
I don't have anything for the V2 but it shouldn't be too different.
http://www.coolingtechnique.com/recensioni/altro/aio-liquidi-compatti/1280-recensione-nzxt-kraken-x40.html?start=4
So the difference would be more like 3dB total.

Probably should have pointed it it was the rad fan, case fans are pretty quiet so I don't think they need replacing unless there's an alternative that would make a noticeable difference in cfm/noise level.
As I said before isn't 3dB roughly double the volume?

SetsulBecause on paper the ML140 PRO looks decent, slightly lower static pressure and CFM than the NF-A14 or the FX-140KRX but in reality it sucks dick.

I would assume I'd need more static pressure to work effectively with a radiator no? Therefore the NF-A14 industrialPPC-2000 PWM would be the best option?

SetsulNF-A14 industrialPPC-2000 (PWM or not, but PWM is the only one that would cost 5£ more) or ML140 PRO are both the wrong choice.
If you're bothered by clicking on a 1000 rpm fan you're probably not going to appreciate the noise a 2000 rpm makes when operating normally.

A FX V2 ramps up to 2000RPM when maxed, and the clicking is down to a dying bearing, so I'd rather replace it before it dies completely or the sound gets worse.

the NZXT fan peaks at 37dBA whereas the Noctua is somewhere around 25dBA. As a rough rule of thumb the volume doubles every 3dB, that seems quite a decrease in noise level to me.

Currently using a NZXT Kraken X41 which has a FX V2 Radiator Fan on it on a push exhaust setup on the rear of my case. Using two Fractal GP14s on the front normally running at 100%
It's started to make occasional clicking sounds which I'm assuming is the bearing going.

So looking at changing it to either a Noctua NF-A14 (and buy the white corners) or a ML140 PRO.

Anyone had experience with either of these fans? Other forums seem to just say "choose whichever one you like"

Corsair is about £5 cheaper if that affects anything

#412 2018 World Cup in World Events

i
think it's obvious now that national
support is at an all time high and people believe now after all the memes that england might actually have a
chance at winning the
overall thing,
my personal thought
is that we might
not actually
go all the way, but making the semis is still pretty good given englands aboslute appalling run in 2016 and 2014

however, lots of the
other teams we beat had lots of critics beforehand saying "wait till you play a good team like X, you'll get knocked out"
maybe it's just one of those cups where the teams with big names haven't taken it as seriously as
everyone else, expecting to breeze through. But at the end of the day england are at least 4th place in the world cup
