conradzioNo libertarians here?... younger Paul anyone? I know he dropped out but still...
Never understood the libertarian fixation on Rand Paul. The dude's a social conservative. He's basically a standard Republican, minus some of the blatant militarism and rights violations. He plays up the libertarian-leaning image to capitalize on libetarianism's increasing trend in current US politics (which is itself largely driven by Republicans who are uncomfortable with their party's militarism and religious fundamentalism...), and to link himself with his father.
KuratesBf1942 was awesome, couple of fun moments like ramming enemy destroyers with a carrier in Midway and getting kicked. Bf1942 was the thing that really got me into online gaming, had great fun with mods like forgotten hope, desert combat, galactic conquest (star wars mod) and even pirates mod.
I have more Pirates screenshots archived somewhere, also a ton of assorted BF1942 + mods ones were on Xfire but that's dead...
Also all the airplane stunts videos
Ledo Pizza has pretty tasty sauce, not nationwide but has a good presence in some Eastern US states
popcorpIn my opinion allowing Quick-Fix would make 6s less stale
Did you completely forget what happened with it before -.-
Different rate settings from the configs maybe? Or something related demo recording if you autorecord (no idea how that could possibly affect ping but, it's a thing that could be different only in mp_tournament games -- maybe if you sync files to Dropbox or something)?
Chess, you can take it all the way from casual stuff on your phone to actual clubs/competitive/etc, and there's tons of depth to study.
Do you enjoy reading? A backlit Kindle and a long reading list will keep you occupied for ages. The time never feels wasted either.
Bartending/mixology if you like alcohol. Or brewing. Or experiment with cooking and recipes.
Bob Ross videos and paint. 2D or 3D computer art.
Also putting in another plug for walking; it's healthy and you can explore and it feels good to get out in the weather.
Piano/keyboard -- get an electric keyboard and learn a bunch of movie and pop songs, or classical stuff, or whatever floats your boat.
Putt-Putt Joins the Parade was my first game... they actually added it on Steam just recently. The moon one really hooked me though.
Later, AoE2 and RCT kept my interest the most, and Star Wars: Rebellion deservers a mention as well despite being a menu-click-fest.
Then later than that, Hearts of Iron and Europa Universalis II. EU2 I still play from time to time today, it's held up okay against the later Paradox games because it's basically just a large-scale board game, so it's kinda timeless.
The one game that really got me to stick around for good though was Battlefield 1942. Specifically the Battlefield Pirates mod and the clan I joined based in that.
PendjiHonestly though, I just assumed the competitive configs were gonna turn it back on. Is it actually a matter worth debating? Doesn't seem to do much for the meta, really.
Aside from just the additional disconnect between comp and pubs+etc it'll cause, I remember when I was just starting to learn about the world of comp, advanced movement, etc seeing people do spawn jumps and learning to do accurate ones myself was a small but fun confidence boost and entry to jumping mechanics. Getting yourself ahead at the start of a round like that can kinda show newer players a little of what's possible... also it helps make the start of rounds just that much more fun especially on payload when there's not much to do.
Now you can get fucked over by spawning further from the door. Freezetime jumps at least allow the jumping classes to equalize their position.
Here are 1000 from my username generator:

Re: DeathAdder, it's great in general but it can have quality problems. See an old thread I found here: http://www.teamfortress.tv/6261/the-razer-mousewheel-problem
My Chroma started doing that recently too and from looking over reviews & such, it's a common issue. Also about 1/20-1/10 times it will send two scroll inputs for a single wheel notch click.
Also I'm pretty sure the USB cord has a flaw somewhere now because every once in awhile now (very rarely) it'll stop responding to input if I bend it a certain way. Will probably go with non-Razer when I eventually replace it.
Funkake_If I have edited some things, do I just need to move those tings over, or how do I keep the changes I've made?
Obviously you need to move the changes to the new version to keep them. Check which files the update changes and if your edits don't change the same files, you can just paste the files over them; otherwise, you'll need to make the specific edits again to the new files.
Really though, the best way to get updates and integrate with custom edits is to install & use Git. You can run:
git clone https://github.com/fblue/broeselhud_blue.git
directly in your tf/custom folder to install the HUD, and then when its updated just use:
git pull
If you make changes of your own you can use:
git commit -am "Message about what changes you made"
and then when you use pull updates later on, Git will help you merge your changes with the updates.
brrtonShow Content
you can now choose from 9 different hitsounds, which is sorta convenient for new players.
edit: most of them are bad
Can you piggyback on this to have 9 custom hitsounds?
I've been getting this same thing for several weeks. Seems to happen a lot when going through shutter doors or jumping. Had current router for years though, was going to replace it soon with a duplicate I've been keeping as a backup to see if that solves it. Will let you know how it goes for me.
Have you been getting any other weird bugs like ammo boxes showing as health kits or teammates showing up as enemies of the wrong class? Verifying cache didn't work to fix that so I was thinking it might be getting bad packets from the server.
