Also I decided not to create an option to pick double mixes... Teams would be unbalanced 80% of the time and the traditional LastToSpec -> MedicSawFight -> PickPlayers works okay. And you can still use my site to just shuffle two teams. You just have to make two teams before.

Traxgartehuib14tbf this does the job all ready, if people don't act like 8 year olds you don't need a link to copy-paste. Just make a screenshot or something if they don't 'trust' you.You should take a visit to spanish mixes lmao

As I mentioned earlier, I'm planning to get some readonly textbox in there that you can copy via a button. The copied text will include who was chosen for which class. It can be faked but I can get that done with my current skillset.

kKaltUucan you extend it and make it possible to doublemix? also filling in names sucks, any way to make it remember names or integrate steam?

I totally forgot about dmixes to be honest. I think it'll be quite easy to do.

That sounds more difficult but I can look into that if I get to stick with the project.

The thing is I am doing this at work and my boss is happy that I can work on a real project as practise but now I have to implement bootstrap (which will make the whole thing prettier and modern) because I will need that later. As soon as my skills are developed enough I'll have to do work on actual tasks for work. Meaning this will have to turn into a hobby project.

Yo!

I started working with JavaScript and overall Web Dev half a week ago and I made a thing as a first practise that I actually deem useful.
I call it mixme.tf which is not the actual domain of the website (yet, maybe, I dunno). However it is actually live under the URL https://mijuuu.github.io/ .
Basically you enter six names and press the 'mix me!™ ' - Button and it mixes your team randomly. I'm sure something like that exists already but if not feel free to do it better than me.
It is a work in progress and I am planning to integrate bootstrap to make it pretty and additional features like a copy box/button that copies the names and generated classes for you to paste into ingame chat or mumble chat or whatever.

Tell me how you like it and what you think I should add!

I remade the entire thing with Material Design for Bootstrap. It looks pretty sick now imo, No functionality besides some links was added. Let me know what you think of the new look!

I changed the website so that I can add more projects in the future. That means https://mijuuu.github.io/ will lead you to a welcome page from where you can click mixme on the top. Or you just go directly using https://mijuuu.github.io/mixme.html .

I tried putting in some way to proof the mix. There is now a proof-button that screenshots the table and the copy box is finished. It's hard to fake the screenshot but you can still just hit mixme until you get what you want... If I made the mixme button only clickable once you could just refresh the page... I can't come up with anything else because github pages doesn't compile PHP or anything else dynamic which also means i can't get the steam API to work. Plus: Since this is a webpage you could always just change the HTML.

I made mixme.tf for hl. I call it mixmehl.tf (creative, right?). You can find it under mijuuu.github.io/mixmehl. Not alot of effort went into it tbh. I copy pasted alot and didn't try and bugfix much. So it isn't the prettiest but it is functional.

gemmit doesn't work on sv_cheats 0, there's no way to remove the map shadows on sv_pure 2/cheats 0 i believe. dx8 might make them less noticeable

can confirm :(

i guess its just normal that everything feels different for me because i am on a completely new setup with a new monitor and everything

I don't even know if this is a cfg problem but i dont know where else to go.
those control entity shadows, not map shadows. without shadows, the map would be completely bright (mat_fullbright 1)

I have not tried that yet thanks. I'm gonna try that when I get home.

-Phantom-can someone recommend me a first skateboard im intrigued

Basically you have to build your own instead of buying a complete one. The pre builds are almost always garbage.
You need a deck, trucks, hardware, wheels, bearings and griptape (and a skate tool).
I would get everything in standard size as a first board. That means 8" deck and 8" Standard height trucks. Wheels is a little more complicated but less important (I would just watch a video about it). Can't go wrong on hardware and bearings pretty much. How to build it has endless tutorial videos.
Don't expect to pay much less than 100 euros (or whatever currency) but your first board will be hard to break for you and trucks are the most expensive and hold forever.

Still super clean because i can't grind (mostly doing flatground since i'm bad).

I put my skateboard specs on my steam profile where everybody expects PC specs. It's super funny, ironic, XD.
I advice everybody to do the same.

Bearings: Independent ABEC 5
Griptape: SK8DLX something
Shoes: Chima Ferguson Pro by Vans
But why would anyone care? It's just like pc specs...
