Doesn't even have 4K hours I thought I was reading the tips of a real medic professional .... I feel fooled I trusted you MedicJesus
This wont bring me friends, without discussing info that I am not allowed to give without risking to be banned. But for having been in the ETF2L AC team and more or less kicked cuz people complained i was too low div (some people trying to make an agrument that i was picked to be a minority quota kekw) and also cuz medschool and AC was just not something that i could make work.
The team and the way it worked (at least a year ago) is super disorganized, not very standardized or well explained, and nothing is done without the Senior Admin's approval, like even if everyone aggrees on something, you HAVE to wait for the Senior to close a case or take action, which makes the process slow, disengaging and boring.
Stuff as simple as someone alting could take up almost two weeks to be acted up upon even though i had all the evidence laid in a neat text with screenshots.
Also the tools used are not exactly rocket science (especially the "special" ones) and I found them very clunky and imprecise. Usually only used to exharcebate something that can already be seen with slow mo. Sometimes they were so annoying to use that it was flat out easier to not even open them so you don't have to spend 3 hours on a single demo.
Also some players are obviously using cheats and easily getting away with since the admin team is very stingy about what can be considered proof except when its a "bigger profile" case lol.
Also one thing i saw happen a few time was, a case gets open, it isnt reviewed for a week, then 1 person reviews it, gives a good detailed analysis, then the rest of the team """"reviews""" the case, without adding anything and just agree with the first guy. I feel like there was too much group influence for it to be a worthy jury. And maybe also sometimes laziness.
Lastly, closed cases are hidden from trials and even more worringly, some specific "sensitive" subject such as one of a certain sniper main are straight up hidden from everyone except the Senior Admin.
I'd still like to say I respect the crap out of the current AC team, this shit's hard, boring, and honestly not something I would do again. All that volunteer work, if not to make comp a better experience, a playable one. I just made this post as more of a critique of the system than an attack on anyone.
edit : minor typo
EnzoDBMofuyeah I have the same rig except I got a 1660 super, I use a personalized/edited comanglias where I cranked some settings up that I like and it runs greatMongPost specs. Good pc doesn't mean anything. If you fall under 110 fps in 6s your config is too high or you have mediocre specs.ryzen 5 3600x overclocked and a 3070, also 16gigs of ram DDR4
can you drop a download, i might give it a shot
scrambledhave you checked temps and power settings?
Ye they are good
untamedIf you want frames use mastercomfig, if you want your game to feel nice use comanglia's.
Could you elaborate ?
EnzoDBif you have a good pc, for tf2 specifically, raising your graphics quality can give you better fps because reasons, so play around with other mastercomfig presets and see what gives you better fps
I'll try medium-low ig then

I have a good PC, decided to stop using weird ass resolutions and just play with native.
I always used Mastercomfig low because it always seemed like its the best option however i saw during a HL scrim on product the FPS dipping under 110 which sucks since I use a 165Hz monitor.
Is comanglia better and more stable ? Am I doing something wrong ? My pc is pretty decent so its weird
real talk, why are you guys having religious conflict talk in tf2 text chat in the first place ?
*MORT* ixidor : mofu more like mofo cheatere
My gf invested like 10k€ in BTC 10 months ago or smth, this shit looks hella scary tho, I will always stay as far away from it as I can
jetzMofui mean the insufferable ones are probably just good lol. i didnt say being in invite makes you likeable, i said being likeable makes it easier to get into invite.jetzThen how come so many high div players are insufferable af ? :thinking:MofuClimbing up the divs (especially in HL) is mostly about being friends with the right people and not being good at the gamenews flash: people are more likely to want to play with you if you are a likeable person
Like theoretically think about player X and player Y. Both play invite. Player X is a terrible teammate, insufferable etc. but hes got great mechanics and calling so people play with him anyways. Player Y is pretty mediocre in that sense, but he has a really good attitude and people enjoy spending 5 nights a week with him, so they will pick him up over all the other mediocre players who are also annoying. I don't really believe in your imaginary player who is both insufferable and bad geting picked up every season, people would stop playing with them after one or two seasons.
thats why i said "being friend with the *right people*". Most high div players are insufferable towards everyone but the right people, feels almost like what you'd see out of a work environment to me lol
