aieraIf you have the mentality that the way to fix the failure (in your mind) of going 5-3 in Iron is to cut your teammates who you went through the season with and move up to Steel. This is a team game, and leading a team with the mentality of cutting players when you are doing worse than you hoped will get you nowhere. Last night a team that I have been in since Steel and I won our first game in open? What got us there? Sticking together, in the teams 3 seasons of UGC despite only having one original member, we have never cut anyone. Did we ever have a 6 win season? No. Did we make playoffs every season? No. Did we keep fighting as a team? Hell yeah.
It’s alright to grieve over your defeat. It’s important to admit when you’ve lost. Not being able to do so makes it impossible for you to climb back up after a fall, and even more impossible for you to move forward. so go on ahead and grieve to your heart’s extent. But after you’re done grieving, be sure to set your eyes upon your next goal and move toward it. ~Akira Yoshii
I left the past team because of all the drama that came with Iron, not a single game played without some kind of drama it is my hope that there will be less drama in steel. I was not team leader last season, and I was always annoyed that we had 5 players who were trying to make improvements while the other 4 did nothing to help the team. There was drama within the team itself, and not everyone got a long. Which is why myself, and the other 4 players who are willing to put in the effort split off and went to make a new steel team. Cuts are not something I want to have to do, but there were times last season when it really should have been done. If that's something you have a problem with you don't have to join. I opened this thread for North American recruitment, not all this rambling non-sense. As of now I only need a Demo and Heavy.
