in the rar that u got the hud from, did u notice the file it was in had the word broken on it

change the fonts for the buttons to a custom one of your choosing

pretty sure tf2 doesnt support higher than dx 98
could be set on dx8 by default?

a hud unsaid on the top of my mind is enieres improved default hud, sort of i guess, "technically" it has some added fonts in some areas but in general, also b4nny's hud is all stock fonts altho very few changes from default

to answer my own question in case anyone else needs the answer

the fps drops are from the heavy amount of refracting and masking vtfs used, paired with my shitty computer, altho, if u pair it with the cleantf2 the drops are basically fixed so, jarkin thought of everything :D

no one has directly done a video tape gif but yeah people have done similar things

what program did u use to compile/separate the frames of it? the only program i know of isnt available anymore

i get a decent amount of fps drops using this hud, is this normal, it is quite a big hud

drained of ideas guys, no motivation to keep working on it,
here is my full version of my hud, it includes everything that is semi broke, and everything ive been working on, including my windows 7 desktop themed menu, uploading it incase anyone wants to use it and make something out of it(dl).

the recording in lawena is apparently not bound properly or something, not sure what the problem is, but i can get it to launch tf2 and load the demos fine, but its not recording any more, like it randomly stopped recording, help pls
edit finally got to work, not sure what i did tho

no clue, its just max frames @ dx9, normally use the simple/flat textures thingy but killing said it wasnt allowed in esea till further notice, but since my tem ded im using them again

ill add it to the "beta" link on huds.tf somewhat soon, at some point plan to make the thread on tftv for it once its more polished

i have time warner cable and i have to have that exact same problem where it would just randomly go out, but that randomly stopped happening so idk
