I know you're upset because no one wants to play in the servers that let them get sniped from halfway across the map while fighting someone else, but maybe if you put in just a little bit of effort you could probably get a few people in there to play with you, maybe. DM servers usually fill up pretty fast when there's at least 2 people in there.

Or you could just try and populate one of the servers that already exists for it because I'm pretty sure the majority of people that play on the normal DM servers don't want snipers and changing one of the more populated servers to one that allows certain weapons/snipers would make those people not want to play there.
thorn_Also, you should not ban bodyshots, that is just silly. I don't know how anyone can complain about being killed by snipers in DM while the entire DM session is filled with the whole team massacring the sniper while he is scoped. At least allowing bodyshots make it possible to headshot + noscope the soldiers and demomen.

That 30hp rocket jump could be the 30 hp you need to live, so it makes the urge to hit shotgun shots even more.bsci dont think 30 hp rocket jumps are inhibiting your ability to aim hitscan weaponsit's more that the rockets don't deal damage to enemies. then you have to kill them with just the shotgun, forcing practice with it.
And it's DM, hp isn't really a thing to be worried about (you get it back as you go and instant respawn), it's hitting shots. So why would it be harmful to get rid of your primary to get better at shotgun aim? You could always whip out the real rocket launcher in a pinch, but that's not the point of it.
When somebody can answer that, I'd fold on it.
Because most people will use it to be gigantic idiots, not only taking a server slot from someone who actually wants to practice their DM, but also wasting the time of everyone else in the server.

#10 is unimpressive simply because the sentry only got as many kills as it did because the other team was unbelievably stupid. Nobody even checked lower lobby, and after the medic and soldier were killed by the sentry, nobody else should have died to it unless this team was either deaf, mute, or both. That was a pretty clever sentry spot. I'll give you that, but that really shouldn't have worked as well as it did. I guess some people prefer seeing unorthodox plays that just happen to work though.

Seconding on fallout 2, game is great. Also Deus Ex, Unreal Gold (the singleplayer campaign), System Shock 2, Thief (the old one), Thief 2, Lone Survivor, Mother 3, and if you're into point and click games Resonance is really good.
