#96 Pokemon X/Y in Other Games

College and tf2 stuff has kept me from playing as much as I've wanted to unfortunately, but I'm loving it so far!

#23 Fighting Games on Steam in Other Games

I've always been more into KoF than street fighter personally, but I'm not that great at either. Leona and shermie are the best. And as far as street fighter goes, makoto is my favorite.

#468 ESEA S15 NA Open Happenings/Predictions in TF2 General Discussion
morning_foxWhy is a schedule with "good teams" a bad schedule? Don't you people want to get better?

They want to win. Still it can be pretty rough going into your matches knowing you'll probably lose most of them. Just gotta deal with it doggie. I feel pretty confident that my team has the ability to win most of the matches we have for the first 8 weeks. But I'm not gonna be upset/disappointed if we don't. Just take what you have and go with it. If you got paired up against teams that are better than you in the beginning take comfort in the fact that you'll get matched up with teams much worse later on down the road when they start pairing you up by record.

DougThat feel when we haven't been scriming with NA teams so we have no idea if our schedule is hard or easy :|

Good luck adjusting to the ping difference when you start playing on the esea servers. Heh.

Looks pretty cool. I used to love playing smash but never got into playing it competitively. Still I'd like to play this.

Rain Dance and Sunny Day always only lasted 5 turns. The weather effects that were endless came from ones that were caused by Pokemon abilities introduced in Gen 3. NOT Rain Dance/Sunny Day/whatever. And now in Gen 6 they won't be.

You guys need to remember that toaster is like 12 years old. His opinion on anything has pretty much 0 merit in any context. Kids like toaster are the reason the phrase "Children are meant to be seen and not heard" exists. Though, I'd honestly rather not have to see Toaster around here either.

imo B/W2 was better than the original B/W. If you liked B/W you'll def like the sequels.

Been playing the pokemon since the beginning, will definitely be getting this sometime after it comes out. Probably around christmas. I told myself I wouldn't buy any more new games this semester after GTA V.

Also if you haven't already I would recommend watching the new Pokemon: Origins 4 part special that came out recently. It's much different from the regular anime and was made for anyone that played the original games. I watched it with a friend of mine last weekend it was pretty cool.

#25 FnF feedback in TF2 General Discussion

I honestly don't mind playing against teams/players that are objectively better than me most of the time, just as long as there isn't some kind of entry fee to get fucked upon then I'll probably keep playing in it. I think the consolation tournament would be a good idea though. After losing our first match most of us were still in the mood to play more tf2.

Second looks like it'll be a lot easier to hold now. This is definitely a good thing.

#183 Why do so many people bash 9v9? in TF2 General Discussion
nerkulThey're just scared. It's like when people knock gay sex without having tried it.

You shouldn't even bother posting in a thread like this if you haven't read through it, which it's obvious that you haven't or else you would know that this is the furthest reason from the truth that anyone could ever come up with.

pokemonizepicsome idiot maid a ESEA gossip tumblr, insulting as many players as he could.

How many idiot maids play tf2? We need to narrow this down here.

Bunch of weapons got updated. Most of them are banned now, like the quickfix (thank god). Also the Loose Canon is viable.

#3 Absolutely gigantic Bioshock 2 update in Other Games

Capcom is making Ultra Street Fighter IV, which is going to be a paid DLC for SSFIV:AE that adds new characters along with rebalancing and will also drop GFWL. There might be other stuff that it does but I'm not really sure what else if anything it'll have.

#40 Emulator game suggestions? in Other Games

The ones I usually use that all work well and are pretty easy to set up are:
ZSNES for SNES, VBA for GBA, ePSXe for ps1. And while I don't really like playing 64 games on emulators, I'm pretty sure Project64 is still the go to emulator for that. No$gba and desmume are also both good DS emulators. I think I would recommend desmume over no$gba though. But I haven't used either of them recently. I generally prefer playing on the actual system and game since I own the majority of them so I don't really know if there are better emulators out there now. But those are ones that have always worked for me.
