Pretty good scout, he played soldier on a team with me previously and he was decent at that as well. He can get a bit pessimistic when things aren't going well in a game, but I think it's something he can work on, and it shouldn't deter any teams in need of a good player, pick this guy up!

I just switched over to play medic for my team. I'd really appreciate any help you could offer.
add/message me on steam, there's only one left.
EDIT: They're all gone now. Thanks for helping me get rid of them.
I have one, most of my friends that would actually want to play this already have it, so if anybody here wants it, add me on steam or something. First one to add and message me gets it.
Oh, I just checked, I actually have 3, so first 3 to add and message.
Do it and make it the only section SaltySally is allowed to post in.
Just use what you're comfortable with. Any time I try to change my sensitivity now it just feels wrong and I quickly change it back to what I've been using for a good while now. I'm just used to it.
It works fine for me since the halloween update. I run in dx8 and borederless window.
thinkWhich -dxlevel launch command is the default?
Depends on your hardware, but if you use 9, it's "-dxlevel 95" if you use 8 it's "-dxlevel 81"

This is what I use, it comes with rayshud, and I think it works pretty well with scout.

Some stuff on the main menu gets cut off for me.

It's not a big deal and not really detrimental, but maybe fix it up a bit when you release the next big version or whatever? Since I've had cut off issues with other things before, my res is 1600x900
Love the menu otherwise, very nice and clean.
For the crosshair, you have to set both "visible" AND "enable" to "1"
sdogg2mAlso, I see little guidance to portals that will make people interested in 6v6. So many players in highlander make it their mission to get other players interested in highlander. No one plays one game forever, so in order to keep the talent pool replenished you have to get new people involved.
Be polite to new players! If someone is testing out the format and getting constantly trashed by the established community then don't be shocked if they refuse to hang around. You don't have to mentor every new player that tries the format but you should encourage them to stick with it and get better.
This is exactly the purpose of Newbie Mixes, which from what I've heard, have been going pretty strong since they started back up a few weeks ago thanks to Vick.
