It was a somewhat contreversial change made only recently to accommodate the ignorant. I dislike that the word now has two opposite meanings.

It looks more like a bunch of drunk people had the idea of trying to play TF2 with their feet.

I'm really very confused. ESEA themselves seems to be fueling speculation that their TF2 league will die or at least their admins aren't making any effort to provide assurances to the contrary.

If Cevo didn't exist would the small number of teams currently signed up in open be cause for any concern? Aren't there usually this few teams until much closer to the deadline?

I realize that ESEA has threatened to drop TF2 in the past and maybe it even worked, but at a time when many people are already leaving for another league what can this tactic do but accelerate the exodus?

I admit that I have serious doubts about Cevo, but if it is between playing in Cevo and not playing in a dead league the choice is pretty obvious (at least for non-invite players I guess).

Can we get some kind of OFFICIAL statement from the admins, because if everyone thinks ESEA TF2 is dead then it is.

I am looking for at least a high open team, that is committed to improving, practices regularly and has a relaxed mumble atmosphere.

I played last season for Team Lockdown in open last season.

I can play from on sunday-thursday from 9-12 AM without any problems.

I think that's all.

EDIT: I don't mind playing Cevo if the team also plays ESEA

I think it would only make sense if you could subtract total self damage from total heals received, that way the healing that has to occur to build uber/do rollouts would at least be accounted for.

EDIT: even this way is pretty weird since a roamer jumping around picking up packs could go into negative heals.

It also wouldn't take into account buffs which is pretty big. If a buffed scout kills an unbuffed scout you can't necessarily credit the buffed scout with being more efficient.
