LKincheloeGen_CavemanThis is why the move to 10 teams was confusing to me, sure it is cool to have more teams in invite but why not just increase it to 9 so each team plays each other twice. With 10 teams, now the deciding factor for lan able teams like Mad Men and Top Guns could be that Mad Men only play Vector once while Top Guns only have to play Mix^ once.
I kinda like it as it stands now, this way there is some benefit to making LAN the previous season, since Top Guns played LAN and Mad Men were in IM. Obviously it's on the Mad Men to prove themselves by playing Mixup first and last, so a win in either match would be bigger than TG picking up a win against Vector.
i don't think thats how who plays who was determined, it was probably just random

AllealMagikarpJust to get blasted by 1 hit again, okay. It should at least take 2 hits or more to earn a kill really, instant respawn or not. If you truly believe in it, then you can go make your own DM server and have DH and sniper, since so many people want it right?
If you get hit by every rocket the DH fires then it sounds like you suck at DM. But of course you would, since you never DM against a DH. See the problem?
You know TF2 is the only place I've seen that actively ignores top players opinions. Everyone will beg them for their sens/hud/cfg but won't listen to a word they have to say about DM.
except it's not relevant at all that you never "DM against a DH" because you never play against a DH in regular play anyway

LordOfThePingSorry for not responding sooner, and thanks for all the great advice. Diet is probably the biggest issue for both of us; in Nov I maxed 310 squat but I was still about 20lb overweight at 5'3" 165lb. Neither of us eat particularly clean calories, so gotta get better about that.
I'll talk to her about bodyweight exercise and HIIT then try to get her on the Ripetoes. She'll probably resist because of the social perceptions about lifting that an earlier poster pointed out.
I'll update with results.
Ps: Any thoughts on getting some lifting coaching for me? I sprained both of my knees coaching kids wrestling this winter and my squats haven't felt right since. Will a private coaching session give anything that I can't get from SS books and videos?
