Don't run the client unless you have a match...
and check to make sure your client/account actually works at least a day in advance. Nothing worse than having to plan matches 5v6 because of client issues.
Null_FlowCHEERISSi liked the pet_alt_alt_alt's :<I don't get this. He literally didn't contribute any useful posts, except for maybe one AT MOST. Most of the time it was trolling and literal misinformation. This is a great move.
Pet used to try and write hilarious & deep cutting insults, but no really cared. Instead he just started writing "so & so is bad," which somehow made nerds more upset. That's why we love pet_alt_alt_alt_alt_alt_alt_alt_alt_alt
Boinkas soon as you hear pet's voice everything makes sense.
CaidH is addicted to NS2, pls help him
The worst is that it rained yesterday, then snowed today in Minnesota >:/
Make up your mind....

if that's not an aimbot you tell me what is
It's not surprising that rando lost 20-0, though ;)

If any of you had read that hilarious thread, you would know he said he beat a random player in mge 20-0. He never claimed to actually beat Rando...
I used to play snake on my phone, good times
You have to define the font you want in clientscheme. This includes the size of the font...
Chippyblack12Ol is a font
"chippyBlack12"
{
"1"
{
"name" "Maven Pro Black"
"tall" "12"
"weight" "500"
"range" "0x0000 0x017F"
"antialias" "1"
}
}
"chippyBlack12OL"

"tall" "12"
"weight" "500"
"range" "0x0000 0x017F"
"antialias" "0"
"outline" "1"
}
}
only chippy black 11 and 12 have and OL option as defined by the clientscheme.

fonts don't magically appear in your hud because you change the font name.
You might have to define the font you want in "clientscheme.res"
Search for the OL font you like and try and copy its parameters to the smaller size you prefer.
ps, i think your puush screenshot is broken, not that it makes a difference...
Damn, did i miss this? alt_destroyed?
I wanted to learn how I could be improve from being bad and low/mid :(
University of Minnesota sports teams will kill part of your soul, just letting you know now foster. I know first hand.
I think the biggest thing is the shaded box behind both the health and the ammo count. Your text values are already outlined/shadowed, you don't need the boxes to improve readability.
I understand that the boxes add symmetry to your hud and you may like them for that reason, but I don't feel like they add utility to your tf2 hud. They take up space, rather than making it easier to read. Also having the team color health cross and team colored bars under the health/ammo is redundant. In my opinion, you should use one or the other.
I also am annoyed by how big the team colored outline is on your health cross. Part of the problem is that you removed the gray cross background, which exposes the team colored cross when your health is low. The issue with this is that you can see the overlapping area on the colored bars. This isn't a huge deal, but it looks like this is something you smacked onto the screen rather than implemented cleanly.
I also think your killfeed could be a touch more vibrant. You outline self inflicted kills/deaths in white which is fine, but its hard to read the other notifications. This is pretty important for competitive play as you want to keep track of all players, not just personal kills.
I don't think your hud looks bad, but I wouldn't use it for various personal reasons. Making a lot of changes to your hud might make it look like other huds that you seem to despise from post #11. Honestly though, there is a reason that almost all popular huds look similar (eg. the layout of broesel, omp, rays, oxide, m0re, comm/flame, etc). If you want to make something original work then great, but your going to get a fair bit of criticism.
For those who missed it: https://code.google.com/p/7hud/wiki/Screenshots
Honestly, it isn't that bad. It isn't as cluttered as i though it would be from reading the comments of this thread.
I have a Zowie MICO (listed above) and I've been using it since January. I really love it's size.
There are some questions online about its sensor, I haven't noticed any issues with it. However, I am no expert in mouse sensors. I also only use 800 dpi, I've heard that the 1600 dpi setting is where the issues are caused.
I would recommend it. It was only like $30-40. It doesn't have side buttons though, if you need those...
I had a logitech g9x before that, i used it without either of the covers. It was alright, but it wasn't really shaped to be used without a cover. Also the mouse feet/lazer sensor weren't my favorite, but a part of the issues might have been my hardpad as well...
