If the above is true, then you have to become more accustomed to your sensitivity. It's one thing to miss shots because it's hard to judge movement and it's another if you know where they are but your physical movement isn't matched with where you want your crosshair to go. Play more is the only answer. Regardless of what you do just playing more will help. You know where to aim just you aren't fast enough to move your mouse there because you think too much. Get to know your sensitivity and you won't have to think when hitting targets easy targets. Hitting moving scouts is another story.

nvm i understand. Tf2 updates do increase the load on both the cpu and gpu as time goes on (fucking hats)

theres a large difference between mobile and desktop cpu's (especially for tf2) and your 'playable' fps is different than others.

well i already have 1333mhz ram from a friend (he sold me 8 gigs for 20) so i can't afford getting 1866+ even if i were to do that, i'd rather use the money in getting a gpu. Thank you though for the responses I never knew ram mattered more for integrated graphics :o

Ram makes very little difference just get something newer (ddr3 1600 or 1333 mhz ram) an i5 is a stronger processor in general so yes, even if it is clocked lower. I would recommend getting a strong gpu though since dota2 is probably more reliant on the gpu (i'm assuming).

Yo, I'm getting a new computer finally and i don't know if i can afford a video card right away. In case i can't this friday (yea i know i'm scum for getting sales on black friday), does anyone know how well the i5-3570k's hd graphics 4000 can run tf2(chris' highframes ofc)? I know the game is very cpu-intensive so i'm expecting good fps but i'm unsure of how much effect it will have if i have a shitty gpu.

also i forgot to mention i'm using my old monitor so res will be 1280 x 960 so that probably plays a large part in this as well.
