fps drop recently?

i'm just wonderin but does anyone know why when a spy cloaks anywhere on my screen i get 15 or so fps then it goes straight back up to 100 or so? i get that there are a lot of particles but jesus are there that many? same with uber and medigun particles it's frustrating playing medic when i get 50 less frames than any other class

i did the same ^ but it didn't fix it and on top of that it gave me weird particle errors which made my game stutter when someone rocket jumped.

This is weird. Try deleting your current resources and scripts, and replace them with YaHud. Make sure you are outside of tf2 when you do this.
i tried this it didn't work i'm just gonna hope i can uninstall and reinstall tf2 in less than 15 minutes *sigh*

also everytime i rocket jump or hurt myself with a rocket i get a comment in console along with a shit load of jitter and stutter saying : Model '(null)' doesn't have attachment 'backblast' to attach particle system 'rocketbackblast' to.

match is in 45 minutes and i have like no items in my tf2 inventory and i need the quick fix for this match. some items show up the rest are invisible or say #tf_default_itemDef i tried deleting the item data thing.txt in scripts but it didn't come back and it didn't work. i tried verifying but it didn't do anything please help tf.tv you're my only hope!
