I went to China last month and I can say for a fact that the amount of growth that's happening there is not sustainable.
Sure you have buildings appearing of thin air and money explosions left and right, but the management and general infrastructure isn't up to the task of regulation. You can have fancy posh hotels and staggering skyscrapers, but if you can't fix the disgusting amounts of pollution, poverty, and general corruption that's plaguing your society, watch all the effort crumble away sometime in the future.
Rather than continual growth, I believe China would be much better off trying to regulate their society and fix the vast multitude of internal problems first so they're better equipped for long term stability.

Literally a comcast monopoly over here so can't even switch ISP's...
M4TT#14 is google still blocked in china?
Yes I believe so, as I could not access my Gmail. Maybe it's some sort of secret strat to force people to only use search engines and web features provided by Chinese companies the government can exert more control over than foreign corporations.
The Chinese government are definitely quite authoritarian when it comes to managing its specific cities by quelling any sort of unrest and instating leaders who favor their policy and decision making. However, with the rate that China is modernizing based on my visit less than a month ago, this autocratic approach isn't going to be as effective since Chinese citizens will be more and more exposed to the more liberal policies of foreign countries such as the US.
Chinese corporations are also expanding at a ridiculous pace, with IPO's such as Alibaba and telecommunication conglomerates such as Huawei gaining larger footholds internationally. If the government can't keep up with the rapid modernization of its society, then watch for more civil unrest such as this one in Hong Kong to become even more numerous in the future.
Hong Kong has likely experienced one first because it's the financial and international center of China where a lot of Western influence has opened the eyes of its citizens to the wider world.
Just as a suggestion: The government could start by first taking down the "Great Firewall of China" so people don't have to resort to using VPN's and unreliable proxies when trying to access their Gmail, watch cute pets on Youtube, or play Facebook games. >_>
Not low-mid open. At least mid-high... This guy is a literal deathmatch rockstar who has improved leaps and bounds since his constant mge and dm mod practice days. Recommend for a high open team that can take this chill dude to playoffs and give him some valuable experience.
ELAPrec?
That actually might be the case. Ever since I updated my P-REC it has been crashing. Should I just revert back to the older version?
Edit: I downloaded the 2.0.6 version which is apparently broken. I will revert to the 2.0.5. Thanks for the help.
Apparently since at least the Halloween update my tf2 has been experiencing unexplained crashes when the competitive config readies up both sides and the game starts. The game just turns to black screen and then crashes to the desktop during every time the competitive config starts a match. I thought it was related to my dxlevel launch options, but it still does it even if I take out the -dxlevel from my launch options. This is incredibly annoying and I need it fixed ASAP.
bagwetteGet rid of it, you just need to launch the game once with do level 81, then quit and remove it to solve the alt-tabbing issues
That's the problem. It doesn't keep the dxlevel change once I remove it after the first launch. The hardware direct x level always reverts to 9.0 once I remove the dxlevel 81.
GrimScorpsuikaAlannyhave you tried verifying game cache?Yes just did that, but the alt tab issue has not been fixed.
is the dxlevel the only thing in your launch options ?
-dxlevel 81 -full -w 1280 -h 720 -console -novid
Alannyhave you tried verifying game cache?
Yes just did that, but the alt tab issue has not been fixed.
Snowdreammake sure steam cloud is disabled completely
It's disabled and has been since before I added the settings.
Protatodid you check your autoexec to see if you had mat_dxlevel 91 in it?
Did not find it in my autoexec.
I use Comanglia's fps config if anyone is wondering.
