mastercomsthesqrtminus1i saw the title and was excited for this but after reading this thread i dont want to fuck up my tf2 for like a 3 frame decrease in performanceI've made a new preset for the config for max frames, while all benchmarks so far use my default config which does not squeeze out every last frame.
Please check back soon for benchmarks for my max frames preset!
Are gibs meant to be enabled? I have sillygibs in maxframes and regular gibs on your main config. I did a run with the nogibs section taken from comanglia's anyway.

You are correct. Those seem to just be autoconfig/stale settings as I misspelt mastercomfig as masterconfig when executing it. Sorry for my carelessness.

I don't think I'll get anything as significant as your CS:GO graph, as they seem to be graphing the effect of powersaving modes.
ComangliaI would be extremely grateful if anyone would test these configs with Average and Minimum frametimes and well as a graphed out frametime like this.
I'm assuming you want to compare yours and mastercoms, if not I apologize.
I'm not sure if you were expecting something more significant than simply lower framerate (based on your CSGO graph), but that's all I see.

That mod is over 5 years old, and the full nohat version was taken over by a fair few different people since then to stop the mod dying. I wouldn't expect it to work as intended.

Your laptop is likely scaling the performance down to try and alleviate the heat production. Limit your framerate or cool your computer better somehow. Game generally runs better on Windows/Linux than Mac OS, for what it's worth.
A_Bird_With_ArmsI have an issue on reflective textures, like the flooring on process spawn room and HQ 2Fort. It gives them the old checkered design, i'm running dx 95 so I want to know if there is a command that could be linked to it. Thanks in advance

snd_mixahead is in stability but not maxframes, it might be that. It's 0.1 by default, and 0.06 in stability. If it's too low sound gets fuzzy.

Some people benchmark HL2 ep2 with various DDR3 memory timings. Conclusion seems to be it can help with responsiveness and increases minimum framerate, but the average FPS increase seems negligible.

Removing the config files doesn't undo the commands, it just stays how it currently is unless told otherwise. Putting -autoconfig in your launch options should reconfigure to autodetected settings (remove command after a successful launch)
