#7 3/4 Man Sack on Last in TF2 General Discussion

During season 9 on The Experiment I wanted to do a 4 man suicide. Mostly becuase Snakewater's spawn for "2 -> Last" is super quick for the offense and perfect filter into the 2nd point. ex. guys would not go for it. "Its just the same as suiciding 1 person"

Next season on Flow we were into trying wacky stuff. So on Snakewater I convinced the guys to suicide everyone on last except for Pocket and Medic. The results were amazing. We literally never lost a fight or last push when using the 4 person suicide.

The initial responses to our 4 man suicide was the enemy moving out too quick and too clumped up, so we would just walk on 2 point, Soldier/Medic and uber into 4-5 of them. Our respawns would come and instagib them. And of course there is the possibility of when you jumped 4 people into last that you kill 4 of them or drop the medic.

Next season on Mixup, the 4 man suicide was being countered so we evolved the bomb to have three variations that would further exploit Snakewater respawns and fuck with people heads (which is really the most important thing).

It seems teams are experimenting with all different types of bombs with varying numbers now, which I think is real cool.

#13 include ETF2L matches on "Upcoming events" in Site Discussion

I do not completely speak for Enigma when it comes to this, but I am sure I can echo some of his sentiments.

TF.TV is working on a number of "beyonce upgrades" and is working on just being able to produce what it has now. Putting ETFL2 matches on upcoming events is not high on the priority list at the moment. However, it is a good idea and I am sure Enigma might decide to implement it in the future. It is great to see that you guys are enjoying the site and wish to be more apart of it. The only thing I could see as speeding up such a process would be to see Europeans representing Teamfortress.TV, getting the name out there.

#15 On Time in TF2 General Discussion

Evening roundup:

TF.TV did a great job on presentation, promotion, and logistically it was done right. In the future, a backup streamer should be on call, ready to go immediately.

1,300 before frontpage
2,006 with frontpage
1,750 after frontpage

Essentially we reached around 300-400 new viewers because of frontage.

When Lange's power went out 900 people moved over to Cbear's channel.

Factor in that our largest inner community stream will get is around 400-450 (Lange, Seanbud, etc). It is safe to assume we increased our "continue viewer" number by around 200 last night.

That is a huge accomplishment. 200 fresh new eyes on the website and ready to watch again next week!

ESEA was good at switching servers and dealing with STV issues, thanks Killing Kalkin.

The only thing that could have been improved is all 12 being on the server quicker to determine issues and fix them before start time. But that changes based on which teams are playing.

Call me crazy but every time I have played an 11:30 match, FOR SOME ODD REASON, it always ends at 1 AM. Start earlier.
