#56 HRG roster in TF2 General Discussion
AoshimaDuring S14 - not the lan, or the playoffs, the season- Mad Men were the only team who managed to threaten HRG pre-quick fix.

In said game, rr managed to play like a beast. If he can keep up that kind of play in HRG- and if he's willing to put in the work like he seems to be- I don't think having b4nny off demo would be much of a problem.

Also, rr is going to be playing demo on the same team as b4nny- if there's anyone in this game who can give you demo pointers, it's b4nny.

I'm sure from a spectator point of view this makes sense, but as a player, the subtle things banny does are what sets him apart. I dont care who is replacing him as demo, it will be a downgrade.

#13 Sorry in TF2 General Discussion
moweFull credit to the Euros, they were clearly more prepared and deserved to win. But I have to think HRG's schedule played a part. They JUST came off ESEA LAN (including weeks of preparation) with a decidedly different meta with the Quick Fix. Then they had zero practice with the Euro rule set and jumped straight into i49. Remember half their team never played Euro rules before.

It's kind of the reverse of the situation at i46. NA teams were well-prepared and focused and maybe surprised the Euros a little bit. This time the EU teams (and iM!, sucks they went out like that) came ready and caught out HRG.

#110 ESEA Quick Fix Ruling in TF2 General Discussion

Should be left up to a vote, that being said I'm sure that all of the captains will vote to have it banned because of the fear of change. Everyone's worked "SO HARD" to get this good at the game, why would anyone want that effort to go to waste? Why learn something new when you can just get better at what you know? We had more practice with quickfix than anyone, yet HRG was still able to handedly beat us at LAN using all three guns, only when we used all three guns did we finally take a map off of them. Quickfix is definitely not all powerful like the nay sayers are so quick to believe. It may be slightly overpowered in its current state, and maybe it should be banned until it receives a slight nerf, but I'd rather see teams push the envelope and make medics a more dynamic and influential class. If it gets banned now, unless it gets nerfed into obscurity, it will not be unbanned without some serious lobbying.

The nerf it needs is to allow knock back of the target being quickfix-charged. This would allow fully buffed members of the opposing team the health to survive an attack from the quickfix, by the medic out healing prior to the quickfix charge, or by the combat classes manipulating the attack the same way people juggle and completely deny ubers by good positioning and aiming.

I'd rather see it to a vote, and let it marinate with the captains/teams of invite, the exact same process that it has been for the other item bans everyone seems to agree with thus far.

#218 Quick-Fix in 6s? in TF2 General Discussion

The change that needs to happen to quick fix is that the person being healed during a quick fix charge should not receive the knock back negation. This would allow players to run uber and juggle a quick fixed player away long enough to obtain uber, while still being able to converge on the medic because he doesn't go flying. The main problem is there is nothing you can do to escape a quickfix and they automatically obtain the chargeffaster. Also uber needs to build at full rate without damaging yourself, the other 2 guns charge faster as it is, no need to punish a medic who can keep his team fully buffed.

#13 types of aim in TF2 General Discussion

Easiest way to aim is to know where you need to aim before you need to. Try and identifycommon mmovement patterns and start figuring out where your opponent might go. Reacting all the time and aiming at models doesn't work for me.

#1 International calling back to USA in Off Topic

So I'm going to Europe for a week and a half, will have access to wifi for the majority of my trip. Regular international calling is ridiculously expensive, does anyone have a recommendation on maybe a voip calling app or some other workaround so I can call back to tthe USA for relatively cheap? Will be in England and Germany if that makes a difference.
