You can get a pretty solid color grade with Vegas' color curves. MBL is kinda optional

Numbers is a really solid player with whatever he plays as. Perfect for backing up a team, and I've never once seen him get mad at the game.
dellortProwerYou currently have it set to interlaced. Go to the Field Order and set it to "None (Progressive Scan)". This will get rid of scanlines in your video.
Also make sure your framerate matches up. If you are recording in a multiple of 60 FPS, then export at 60 FPS instead of 59.94.
Framerate doesn't really matter since the tf2 recording aren't precise anyways (480 fps might actually be 477.262 for example). I think rendering at 59.94 is better for youtube which plays at 29.97 fps if I'm not mistaken, so it's a direct 2:1 conversion.
Its 29.94 FPS. Downloading a Youtube video confirms it(although Google just recommends to upload in whatever source framerate you have)

This is coming straight from Google's encoding guide for Youtube. The video WILL stutter on your PC, but will look smooth on Youtube due to the method of encoding they use.
For 720p - 5000 kbps
For 1080p - 8000 kbps
For 2k+ or upscale - 25000 kbps
If you noticed, I said "upscale". Due to the drastic change in bitrate, it can be beneficial to upload your 1080p content in 2k. Here is a great video explaining it and showing comparisons if you're interested:

Also, jp_, did you seriously just recommend placebo?
What FPS was this recorded at?
I liked the inclusion of the HUD and damage numbers.
hanbroloI played tf2 on a mac for along time and got this a ton, went away when I switched to pc (thank god). I always thought it was due to the built in mouse accell that macs come with, it got kinda buggy sometimes even with the trackpad, I never thought it was a config problem, that's interesting. I never used a crouch jump but I have an uber call and some weapon switching ones, can't see how that would effect it though....
Thank you! This lead me to believe it was a mac specific problem and a little searching found that macs have some weird mouse acceleration problem and enabling raw input(m_rawinput 1) fixes the issue.
Alright guys, for some reason, this twitchy mouse problem was related to him adding a few scripts to his autoexec.cfg
The scripts added was a fake uber call, crouch jump, and loadout switch binds.
After switching them around his game is somehow fixed and I'm left confused as all hell. The only other odd thing is since he is on a mac, he created his autoexec by copy and pasting an existing .cfg file and renamed it autoexec.
Still doesn't explain how those should have made his game unplayable(and for those wondering, the twitchy movement was similar to the way a mouse performs with something obstructing the sensor)
I decided to try that HudPlayerClass file on ShinyHud and it looks like it maintains the look and feel of it. Pretty cool.

EDIT: I decided to change both to bg_black to make it fit with the hud better
RageThis is actually pretty hard to do unless you bind jump to mwheel of course
Even with mouse wheel its still pretty inconsistent.
If you make any significant nerfs to the quick fix it will no longer be viable in 6s.
People have quickly forgotten the kritz counter and are instead looking at lan strats where players were still figuring out ways to counter the quick fix. Once people started using other mediguns(still including quick fix), the games became much more enjoyable.
A lot of people are acting as if invite players are the law. But they still have to learn weapons and strats like anyone else. Instead of working with what they were comfortable with, they rolled quick fix 24/7 even though they had little prior experience running it. End result was heavies and snipers to slow down the gameplay rather than switching mediguns.
I do, however, think that the quick fix should have been banned when the buff was introduced. Wait until next season to evaluate the quick fix. I guarantee people would have had a better reaction to it if it wasn't overlooked like the other weapons in the update.
I think the games improved a lot once people realized you could use a different medigun and still be fine.
People don't know how to really play with quick fix to its fullest potential.
That doesn't make it a broken unlock...
I like doing backburner forward spawn plays, but unless you are doing a surprise yolo pyro play and get lucky, I don't think people will prefer pyro over a scout or soldier.
