my matchmaking menu is broken
keep getting no servers. "searching" for 30 minutes now
i'm "searching" for 15 minutes now. says there's only 2 people doing so and then it says there's just one. is this normal? can't seem to get in a game

This is valve's own fault. they designed and launched this game with a casual gaming experience in mind and is being treating tf2 as such for almost a decade. realistically speaking, releasing matchmaking isn't gonna solve anything until comments like those are not the representation of the majority of this game's player-base. it's foolish to create a player-base with a casual mindset and then expect them to have the maturity or sense of judgment to abide to a competitive structure. you'd literally have to brainwash these people to negate the mentality they created during years of casual tf2

the actual competitive tf2 players is the minority. these guys actually represent the majority of tf2's general community. you'd see this dumb shit every time if not for the competitive scene.
