KipDoes anyone else like random adds? I accept all friend requests and have honestly found some of my best steam friends that way. Sometimes they're fans of my youtube videos or just met me in a pub or lobby, but I have honestly never regretted accepting any friend request. And even I ever do, it's not like unfriending is hard.
In my profile, I say that if you want to be my friend, you have to talk to me and be ready for me to join you and pocket med you in pubs. I like meeting new people and learning where they're from, what classes they main, why they like TF2, etc. I feel like once you talk to the random adds and strangers, you find that they are people and have stories and feelings, and that makes it harder to rage against them or call them offensive names. I know it seems naive and idealistic, but that's how I justify devoting thousands of hours to this game. The people.
Beautiful
He's constantly improving, and he's already got great dm and gamesense. Someone pick him up.
fsXDdefyuser friendly? its a phone lol not like it's something difficult to grasp
some people are very technology deficient
i get an email from my mom every other week or so asking how to call people.
His name is technosex. Does that sound like someone that is technologically deficient to you?
Actually, on second thought...
My Galaxy S3 is my most prized possession. The S4 has even more processing power if you're looking for that. Also, thanks for showing me all the gay hiding spots on badlands and granary in your videos.
Awesome music! Awesome video!

And I thought the term "flamebait" was the most homoerotic thing in this thread...

This part was my favorite part of the movie.
(Tied with when they killed bigfoot. And when they tried to cover it up as a suicide.)

harbl_hotel is the chillest map ever
Thanks for introducing me to Rogue Legacy. It's my new addiction.
#3 is my favorite. I'm not exactly sure why, but it's like the longer I stare at it, the more interesting it gets.
Why does this thread exist?
cinqThe best thing to do when a problem arise is to do something and "now"! Don't let the situation deteriorate... It's fairly easy to use the "!admin" command on IRC. Most of the time we can save it by acting quickly. I would say that 90% of the time (if not more) things will go bad but the issue won't get reported at all. This is way too common in PUGs: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bystander_effect
Regarding the idea of a specific channel for middle players... I am not sure if there would be enough competitive players to have a channel dedicated to middle players. Plus, there's a "!surf" command, barely anybody is using it, that thing is for those players who feel unchallenged by normal games, just skip the lower games and wait for the captain games. There's no need for a second channel in my opinion, let alone a third...
I am working towards improving the system but at the same time I have major issues with Gamesurge. Things aren't going the way I want and it's hurting the progression of the whole project... My goal has always been to build a system that was easier to use and also easier to manage, right now we do not enforce the authentication of users since it's a complicated process. I can't even get back online the "beta" project of atf2.org... Also, it's summer time. Some of you might have more free time but I don't.
I took the liberty of adding you on steam, and I'd love to help take care of #tf2mix by becoming an admin.
