#14 Tunnelvisioning my aiming in TF2 General Discussion
If you're only playing 2 hours a day no matter how long you play it will be hard to get better without that grind. Sorry, if you want to get good at aiming while moving play dm for that 2 hours each day and in a while you'll improve. When you're trying to build hard muscle memory 2 hours a day means a lot more of what you do is getting lost the following day than you think is.

I know, but there's simply lots of other things which keeps me away from huge gaming sessions.
I'll definitely play more DM amd move away from MGE.

Shpeeismeyou are having a bad day today aren't you?

I think it's justified, TBH. I've been annoying.

The problem is you expect to grind mge or soapdm for 10 hours then wake up tomorrow a god.

Not really. I play TF2 max 2 hrs per day. Playing too much would just turn me into Zombie.
But you're right about all the rest; I grew impatient after my +4,000 hours of playing, started overthinking and thought I was doing something wrong, and started to spam forums asking for help to maximize my improving.

Basically I gree impatient and overthought things, which ended up embarassing myself.
Thanks for the help.

SetsulThat one simple trick is playing dm/MGE for 10 hours every day.

I thought playing that much would make more harm than good.

Making this thread was a mistake.

Alright, I'll not ask similiar questions here ever again. They seem to be nothing but annoyance to you guys.
Sorry again.

Basically, when I focus on my aiming, my movement get clumsy because I tunnelvision it. And when I focus on my movement, my aim gets clumsy. For some reason I cannot focus on both effectively when I try.

Is there a good way to practice focusing on both, or am I just not trying hard enough?

Edit: I've gotten enough help, and learned my lesson to not ovrthink these things.

CrenicusBumFreezeyou sure do know a lot and post a lot about spuf for someone who keeps telling us about how dumb they are, do you have some wierd kind of stockholm syndrome?
I spend my time there helping people with their problems, give new players hints or play with them.

But you still have a point, so I'll leave the Forums.

knsumeI swear the only reason people think soldier is op is because they've never fought a good scout as the class

Most of them play on Pubs with no teamwork and -coordination, so decent gamer playing any power class can pretty much solo the whole match.

And people who start those threads, while are smarter than the majority of Form users there, are still Pub players with no comp. experience.

I used to be like this, but I learned that I should not do do so because of my inexperience and lack of good arguing skills.

While some (see most) of the steam forums is trash, they may well have a few useful posts.

The good threads on that place's standards are some discussions about Weapon balances, but it usually turms into huge flamewar when more casual players join in.
