Valve doesn't make medals. All they do is take medals that have already been modeled and put them into the game. They don't even do it just for highlander. Those stupid pan tournaments have in game medals.

I don't understand what there is to gain by changing the game in an attempt to make it grow. There are plenty of teams and 6v6 plays fine as is. Seeing how there's no money or viewers in any FPS ever, I don't see what the goal is.

Communication is vital in every single team based competitive game. Mics will always be required.

I feel like minis spawning with full health and regenerating hp during build up is way too good. They're already better than normal sentries and give you +25 health. Their hitbox is really small and the convenient way buildings take less damage means that they will waste a lot of ammo. Their main identity seems to be that of a throwaway gun that adds utility by increased presence on the map. I do not understand why they also serve as ammo/damage sponges when an engineer over extends and decides to start crapping them all over the place.

Committing people to stand next to the cart and do nothing so you have a good capture time is very boring.

I think the game looks mildly interesting. The whole bait and switch they played with the teaser was super fucking lame, though.

You can't allow the pee sniper or YER through because of how devastating they are in the sets. A spy that can't be heard unclocking and a sniper that can't be headshot? Massively lowers the skill ceiling while still making them almost as threatening as a player really talented at either class. Honestly, no other items in the game have anywhere near the impact of those two sets.

Have you ever played a 6s lobby? They are awful. And the playerbase is significantly smaller and already kind of knows about competitive. You put a bunch of pub players in that environment and it would be even worse. Without people knowing what they're doing, 6s is not fun. It makes TF2 look bad and it makes 6s look bad.

That's really interesting. 6v6 is kind of awful without a cooperative team in mumble so it was pretty much doomed from the start but this could both get more people into comp and actually maybe rebalance some kind of dumb items so this is promising.

There are several dozen (maybe even hundreds at this point) "exclusive" sniper groups that all have some silly tag. Most of them earned their cred from sniper servers and are kind of awful at competitive for the most part since all they do is pub or play 24/7 sniperz ridge.

He puts a sticky on the wall at choke instead of doing the second ramp slide. It sends him right to the pack with about 30hp. If you are slow, though, you die to a single sticky and lose mid.

The easiest way to do that part is to stay right on his ass and focus on the shit coming from behind so you never get flanked.
