I played highlander before getting into 6s and my first season happened to be during the wonderful all custom map playtesting summer season. The map was a modified version of croissant that was so incredibly stalematey in HL that neither team capped until there was only 3 minutes left in the second half. Won 1-0.
Might be hard to play matches if you can't be on past 10 EST.
I like it but with 10 players it's just an absolute clusterfuck.
We could also use a decent scout sub. You'll get weekly playtime as long as you can reliably play Tuesdays and earlyish (around 8:30-8:45 EST) Wednesdays for pre-match scrims.
Yo, we're a bunch of buds looking to have a fun but competitive season. Prior team experience isn't required although we would ideally prefer a candidate that has some 6s history (through pugs or w/e). The most important factor is attitude, though. Have fun in TF2 and be dedicated to improving and you're golden.

I like the Pats' odds when they're playing the notGiants.
ESEA won't put up a free league. It's actually quite expensive. They already lose money every season on TF2.
It's a damn shame that shit league runs a monopoly on NA highlander solely because they've managed to get in bed with Valve and allow them to add a million medals to the game every season.
VirulenceHeh, the sound of the StarCraft Ghost's Lockdown missile at 1:10 sure brings me back. That said, the game seems pretty cool so far, even though I haven't the slightest clue what it is going to be.
From a secret message in the teaser: "The short description is that it will be a story-heavy, nonlinear, open world RPG based on the well known Cyberpunk pen&paper system and setting." Also it's slated for 2015 but that's tentative.
Only week 2 and already a handful of upsets. Looks like an exciting season of invite.
You know there's a 99% chance Valve will be selling it at a loss, so that $999 price point is pretty much moot.
Those days were cool.
bl4nkWe also were only playing 1-2 nights a week.
