#9 Video card/ my shitty build in Hardware
BanaynayswiperWhy not skip the sound card and put the extra $30 towards a better CPU or video card?do i even need a sound card i asked around and heard it was better for gaming but i don't know

A sound card is definitely important if you're running a stereo headphones + zalmon clips or w/e mic setup. Most soundcards come with Dolby Headphone Technology that will greatly add to your headphones ability to give correct directional cue.
Sound card + headphone + mic is infinitely better than any usb headset. But if you're not going for that combo then skip the sound card. If you do decide to get a soundcard make sure you get a X-Fi soundcard.

#26 Can someone help me find a computer please in Hardware

If you buy all your parts in ncix (you can have all parts price checked so it would still be a good deal) buy it with this:

and they will assemble the PC for you.

#14 New Computer in Hardware
TwitchTVJohnThis build is great, but the video card is a poor choice. MSI 660ti power edition is the GPU of choice for anybody building a single card machine right now. It out performs the 670 SC and the 680.

MSI's PE 660ti is a great choice but in no way shape or form can it possibly outperform a 670 or 680. The 660ti's possibly higher clock speed from OC doesn't mean much.
An OC'd 660ti only goes to par with a stock 670's performance (maybe slightly better if you get a good OC without POST problems), but it gets instantly crushed by an OC'd 670, and any 680 will completely destroy the 660ti's performance. Especially factoring in MSI's 670 power edition and Lightning edition 680.

Take the Asus VG236H 120hz monitor into consideration:
http://wecravegamestoo.com/forums/gadgetry-electronics-discussion/9014-asus-vg236h-120hz-3d-monitor-review.html

The dude also did a review on the BenQ XL2420T, too:
http://wecravegamestoo.com/forums/gadgetry-electronics-discussion/10706-benq-xl2420t-120hz-3d-monitor-review.html

The asus monitor has higher color accuracy and has identical input lag, in comparison to the benq.

#11 Keyboard Again:/ in TF2 General Discussion

CM Storm keyboards are built by the same oem that does Filco keyboards, and are of the same quality.
CM Storm KBs are also a lot more affordable.
Only con with them is the ugly keycap font (preference), and the logos (preference).

#21 Canadians with Rogers for ISP get an upgrade today in Off Topic

Your not going to be downloading anything faster after this upgrade though.
It's the steam servers that's bottlenecking your download speeds not your plan. Pretty much all servers will bottleneck your download speed.
And Rogers have by the end of December to stop all throttling.

It's the upload speed thats the plus in these upgrades.

shlanerThey still throttle it but they raised the cap and pretended they were being nice. I got a free upgrade since I had a certain plan, to reply to #6.

Edit: I believe I have the Extreme (2nd highest?)
edit2: I looked at their website and my speeds don't match any of their plans... Weird.

Your speedtest may go over your download limit because all plans have "SpeedBoost" feature that automatically provides a temporary burst of speed between 10MB - 50MB. This is pretty much for streaming videos faster.

If any of you guys have the old ultimate plan (75down/ 2up /$99) they wont upgrade you to the 75down/10up plan automatically. Gotta ask them here:
