Probably should ask your doctor just to make sure, but I think it would be fine since your wrist is immobilized by the cast anyways and you're aiming with your arm. As long as there's no pain, it should be fine?
london_callingmonkey and i have been friends IRL for awhile now, and we've had a lot of profound conversations about tf2. just the other day he was talking to me while kickin the ol' soccer ball around and saying he wanted to try out medic, and while i was skeptical at first, i think he could become one of the best medics tf2 has ever seen. he doesn't even need to comm, he just flashes you right before you die and then win the round single handedly after hitting every single needle and saw.
i believe in monkey because he has amazing movement and he loves soccer. i know he'll try his hardest to translate his real life skills into tf2 skills, and have a good time healing his bros
one night, monkey was pugging with some friends and his roommates fucked in the bed behind him. that happened, and it didnt phase him at all. he just kept on getting those uber saws and surfing his way to victory.
try him out on medic and be amazed.
CHERRYAdded Dallas, TX, Knoxville, TN, Raleigh, NC, Boston, MA, Burlington, VT and Montreal, QC to the list!
EDIT: Anyone from Las Vegas or Phoenix areas wants to visit Grand Canyon? I don't think I can rent a car since I'm 20 and have no license, but I can split costs of gasoline if you have one :)
Same for San Fran and Lake Tahoa/Yosemite though Colorado is higher on my bucket list ;D
I live in the Phoenix area and I'd be down to drive. I can most likely provide a couch if you need somewhere to sleep.
MelonUniversity of Arizona
Any other comp TF2 players in AZ?
yeah, moved up here to go to Midwestern University.
Agreed with the Crock-Pot. If you don't have a pre-set meal plan you're gonna rely on and you're not already an amazing cook, start thinking about a few, easy dishes that you can cook. Stir fries are pretty easy to make and delicious. Pan fry some garlic and meat, throw in a couple of vegetables, and then just make some rice ahead of time.
For furniture, there's always Facebook groups/craigslist. If you're limited on time, just buy whatever you need from IKEA. The Linnmon tabletop you can get for $30 with $4 table legs makes a pretty sweet desk.
There are certain time periods where it's harder to find parking and there's a lot more traffic. Keep that in mind for your schedule.
Not sure what exactly you're doing in school, but if you're a grad student, prepare to be very busy. At the same time, make sure you're not just sitting in your room studying all the time.
This must be the first TI where anyone has cheered for a Naga Siren...
im here
god I went through so many emotions during that c9 vs VG game. That was a fucking TRIP
you could probably walk down melrose, sunset, or some other famous street and find a lot of stuff to do. LA is a city with a lot of character. If I were visiting LA for the first time, I'd definitely check out the Getty and Disneyland. There's like a million good restaurants in LA, but maybe for more LA-exclusive food, I would get a bowl of ramen at Little Tokyo (shinsengumi and men oh are my favorites) and a taco from the Kogi truck.
sorta last minute, but I have a friend with a couple of TI5 ticket he'd like to sell. add me if you want to talk details. thanks!
MR_SLINSlin#1737 I play every day
I don't pay for the game though. I never pay for pay to win games out of principle.
It's not like having more rares or legendary makes your deck inherently better. Some of the best decks right now (Grim Patron, Zoo, Hunter) are also the cheapest. I feel that's a lot different than something like World of Tanks, which is actually pay-to-win, rather than card games like Magic or Hearthstone.
quandom#1691 Add me if you want to practice any matchups. I can play every deck reasonably well.
