how many teams have signed up so far?
nice to wake up to see there are still tickets left. c19.
I'll be going. Username is MasterBirdy.
I started playing around the 7th edition. I remember starting out with a mono-green aggro deck that played Basking Rootwallas and Jade Leeches, which didn't do so well against my friends. I took a long break until Magic 2013 and really got into drafting. It's pretty fun to play a format where your deck is different each time but still requires a lot of skill to draft and play. I think my favorite deck is any deck with the Tronlands in them, since my idea of fun is playing a Wurmcoil Engine on turn 3.
The new spoilers for Dragons of Tarkir are looking pretty sick. The commands cycle in particular catches my eye, since I have to play any card that reminds me of Cryptic Command. Looking forward to the prerelease. :D

Take that statement with a grain of salt since the US government is pretty secretive when they go on the offensive (obviously). They're the biggest buyer of zero-day exploits and if they wanted to wreck havoc in a country like China they could easily do so. That being said it's really hard to break into North Korea from the US since they're so isolated and highly monitored. US government involvement in the retaliation is pretty unlikely.
Agree 100% with the Flare nerf and the reasons listed for it. Flare is a tech card that will destroy Mages and Hunters but not punish against other classes because it's a 1 mana cantrip. It has a lot less drawbacks than playing cards such as BGH, Harrison Jones, or Faceless Manipulator.
I'm not sure if Gadgetzan needed a nerf, but I can see it being frustrating for some players. It might be fair, since Rogue is possibly the most powerful class if it can find Gadgetzan at a reasonable time. I don't think it'll hurt the class too much since Rogues are pretty capable at clearing the board even without Gadgetzan.
I don't really like the Soulfire nerf. The only time the card feels broken is when you have no other cards in your hand. Otherwise, I think it's a pretty interesting interaction of when to discard a card, especially if you have other Soulfires and Doomguards in your hand. Guess we could look at Darkbomb as a replacement, though it might be more suitable for Handlock than Zoo.
