The case you linked is a microtower which severely limits upgradability. High end Micro ATX boards are few and more expensive than there standard ATX counterparts.

IMO his best option is my build but with a 380x and save a bit for for a 6600k.

All of my builds are done with the assumption of future upgradability. DDR4 is a new standard and will be the standard for a LONG time. If he gets 16gb now he wont need to buy more later and he could reuse the sticks. A good PSU can be used in multiple builds. I am still using my old TX-750. If you get a decent case you will never need to buy another. I am still using my 8 year old ATCS 840.

He specifically requested Nvidia for shadowplay. That i5 will not run TF2 better than the i3 i linked. TF2 doesn't scale well on multicore. The board you linked cant OC. That PSU doesn't have much headroom and therefore limited expandability.

If you want more FPS in TF2 get a 4690k/4790k/6600k/6700k/5820K and OC it.

Just about everything else will be GPU bound. Your graphics card isnt bad enough that i can justify not waiting for next gen. New shit is expected end of next month.

As you can see sense in TF2 isn't effected by FOV/Resolution. Your sensitivity hasn't changed, only your perception has.

Should be the same if you are using raw input (you should be). Your FOV is higher that is why it feels a bit different.
