Medic = Top Div1 ETF2L/ESEA Main
Soldier = 2 seasons Mid level IM 1 season top open

Nothing better (or even close) has came out in the 9 years since TF2's release. I see no reason to stop playing until somebody one ups it which is looking like it may be a while.
