Quick update in terms of the LAN location vs hotel location.

The recommended hotel of choice will be the La Quinta Inn in Santa Ana, Ca. The special rate aquired for the event will be 85$ per night. That would result in a total of 105$ less for each of the above prices outside of the Parenthesis.

Bumping this. Prices are out now for which hotel we will be using. Keep in mind guys, there's about a half dozen hotels all within walking distance of each other. I'll be looking up individual rates today and update the original post from with what I find.

I just wanted to get this out there for people who are up for a little challenge and enjoy earning prizes.
At SoCal lan in January, I'll be hosting a couple side challenges involving spicy things.

As a side hobby, I like to grow peppers, super hot ones in fact. So I'll be bringing free samples for anyone brave enough to try the worlds hottest pepper. Join the wall of fame for all of those who have braved to try my peppers.
