It's definitely possible. I set up a friend with an msi mobo, gtx 1050ti, i5 6500, and 8gb of ram with a boot ssd and and extra hard drive for games for about 600$.

A little unorthodox, yes, but does anyone her play the trombone? I've got mutes that I will send for free to the first person who comments that they want them. Straight mute, cup mute, wah wah mute. I used to play years ago back in jr high. Sadly I don't anymore. I've long since sold my trombone too so the mutes are now just taking up space. Free to a good home.
