zephyrdoes this process change at all if you have 2 SLI cards?
I'm not sure, I'd say probably not.
cage-What does this mean? I am on step 3 of Shifta's post.
Go to the Half-Life 2 profile (step 2) and remove the executable with the button on the right of the one you press in step 3. I'm not sure if this is necessary but it won't hurt.
What kind of gpu do you have and what driver? Do you get any freezing/crashing out of game? Have you checked temps?
my settings reset so I guess I'll make a guide for nvidia
download nvidia inspector

1. click this
2. select team fortress 2
3. click this and find hl2.exe (SteamApps\common\Team Fortress 2\hl2.exe)
4. select this
5. change lod bias to whatever
6. click this
this is what works with the latest driver, some of the earlier versions have a slightly different process, but there's guides for them (google)
edit: oh and I don't think you're allowed to do this with esea soz
d3d9.dll and injector.txt go into the bin folder, everything else into common\team fortress 2
hm maybe if we just bump this thread every now and then things will magically happen
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think this is the same thing as lightboost.
edit: thx fog
what disconnection message do you get?
try setting steam.exe to high priority
