Slice and Lrik are nice guys. Slice has gotten a lot better than he used to be. Would recommend trying out for their team.

Bumping because I have acquired a job that lets me be free every night so I can play the game. Doubl is also interested in playing next season.
One of like 3 medics that doesn't tilt the shit out of me in mixchamp. He'll do fine in mid to maybe high open.
1.4 in-game, 400 dpi, 29.3 in/360
Wmo 1.1a overclocked to 1000hz polling rate

Tracking but I'll flick a bit with Rockets or Grenades
I also use this accel thing so I can actually turn around with my ancient mouse and low ass sens

I have no idea how good this guy is at the game because I've never played with him. Based on his aliases I'd say he is a very good gamer and would recommend for any team.
Has your life improved since you quit?
Not really it's just as shit as it's always been I just play more Quake and guitar and less TF2.
Do you get bored enough to feel the urge to come back to TF2 often, or are you satisfied enough with where you are (or dissatisfied enough with TF2 when you left) to not even consider it?
I haven't played for like a week and I have 0 interest in playing until next season at the earliest if I can play on a team with the few gamers I like. Assuming they're all able to play.
Did you have some other, non-videogame hobby to spend your time on, or did you exit into the world with no clear plans for what to do next?
I play lots of guitar and listen to lots of music. Work doesn't really count as a hobby but getting another job made me realize that spending my limited amount of free time playing TF2 wasn't a good investment.
What was the main reason that you decided to quit TF2?
I couldn't find a team with gamers I liked to play with (most of this probably has to do with my attitude and the fact that I've only ever genuinely enjoyed playing with like 3 gamers 100% of the time I played with them). All I'd do was DM and Mixchamp and jump maps because I didn't have a team and still wanted to practice but it got really old after about 2 or 3 weeks and I didn't feel the need to play anymore. I also got a job again and quit being a lazy piece of shit.
And, of course, why do you browse a forum for a game you no longer play?
I like this community and the majority of them are wonderful people/memers and I love TF2 I just have no interest in playing it. I also enjoy watching streams sometimes.
Muteim not trying to act like that, thats the reason im not playing. When you're good at something, you usually have a lot more fun at it. When i realized im not as good as i think the game is not as fun
You're honestly being really fucking dumb right now. There's absolutely no reason to quit playing a game you obviously enjoy because a few people provided some criticism that was mostly constructive. Do whatever you want though it's not my problem. I was honestly just trying to help in my own weird way.
Reero People like ebsikl got on a team after his lft thread got bombarded so why can't you???
Basically this. Gamers with very questionable attitudes like Milan, Ebsikl, and even me can get on teams Mute. There's no reason you shouldn't be able to. You just have to work a little harder on applying yourself and we all believe in you. (✿ ◕‿◕)
I agree with most of what rowpieces says. I think Mute is a nice guy and is fun to play with but I've played tons of games with him and he's never played seriously. He either just runs troll loadouts or feed just to offclass. I think part of why he does it is that gamers in higher divisions he pugs with a lot thinks it's funny and it can be but It's really just not good practice or a good way to show that you care. I think Mute has played more pugs with higher level players than almost anyone in Open has that hasn't played in IM or Invite before and hasn't really improved as much as he probably should have.
Mute I honestly really like you as a person and you should take everything I say with a grain of salt because I'm awful but with the way you play the game there's no way you're at a playoff Open level. I really don't think you can play above mid Open. I'm not sure if you tilt really hard and that's why you throw all the time and offclass or if you honestly don't care if you can help your team do well. The best way I can describe how you play is basically a walking feed machine (that can be a decent way to play the game and you can get pretty far just look at Sideshow) but it's not how someone who wants to play at a playoffs level or who wants to improve should do.
I think you need to play a whole season on a mid Open team and spend a lot of time reviewing your demos and other better Soldiers demos and thinking about why you're making whatever plays you are. Trying to play seriously to win the game and acquiring a computer that can play the game on over 60 fps would also help you get to a playoffs level. I really hope you get a team that you like to play with though because you're a nice guy.
EDIT: PEOPLE SHOULD ALSO STOP PICKING YOU IN PUGS JUST BECAUSE THEY THINK YOU'RE A MEME BECAUSE IT'S VERY RUDE OF THEM AND IT ENCOURAGES SOME OF YOUR QUESTIONABLE BEHAVIORS.
FelixTheCalicoVitasaw may only give 19% but if you have someone spawn next to you it's basically 20% Why is it banned? Is it cause it's the danger shield of the medic but does damage?

I played in some of the CTF stuff last night and tonight and it wasn't really my cup of tea. That being said the players I played with were really cool and it felt really welcoming. The first few times I played Quake Live people were like "lol ur shit" and would kick me. Great group would recommend.
Also if anyone wants to duel me in CPMA or Quake Live add me because I need gamers to practice with. The only person that'll play with me lives in Europe and we both have to play on 110 ping to make it even.
No but I'm going to downvote your thread for mentioning downfrags and I assume my post will be downfragged too.
You could get a cooling pad for it and that should help some. You could also take it apart and see if it needs new thermal paste and then apply thermal paste if it needs some.
You should probably wait until next season to bump/make a new lft thread. Also people would like to play with you more if you didn't blame your whole team for your mistakes or if you took constructive criticism instead of taking any kind of criticism as a personal attack and didn't argue with more experienced players who are trying to help you.
