I've played with him a few times and even though we don't get along very well he's definitely capable of playing mid open. He's a good Soldier and a really good caller. His Scout is ok too but not as good as his soldier.

He's decent enough to be around. If he works on not holding down w 100% of the time he will be a very good pickup for a mid open team. No idea about his medic play though but I'm sure he can play mid open.
