TF2 is not gonna switch modes. Best you could hope for is one extra koth in there alongside product.

If we were gonna move game-mode I'd advocate quite a few before getting to PL. PL sucks in tf2 which is a movement based game unlike OW and excels with fast-paced teamfights back and forth across a map.
I am required as a production d00d and also conveniently blow at the game.
TomMaksStevieWould be sick if we could get like 6 teams and maybe throw in an NA team? Would be cool to see 2 international tf2 lans a year.but theres not even 6 good teams
Perilous, nameless, suave, serpents, ronin, froyotech.
There you go 6 top tier teams that would be an interesting tournament
Definitely worth spending an extra $30k per year on in travel and prizepool.
Tomhow is the prize pool being split up, and will there be a 3rd/4th place match?
Double elimination naturally creates a 4th place match in the first round of the lower bracket, and the 3rd place gets decided in the LBF. I will add the prizepool split now, forgot about that.
Our team understand why Mike is leaving after DHS and wish him all the best, was just a pity it didn't last until i58. We are looking at other potential players but may use Mike without practise at i58 if we have no other good option. He's still gonna be a beast.
EvrewsDaggerBopperTaimou and surefour still roam freehttps://i.gyazo.com/7401bad201c04ad30571ce1cd186b951.png
It's odd though. They've played other shooters, sure, like TF2, in ETFL, as a non-DM class though, medic. They've played low DM games like Titanfall, Dirty Bomb, and OSU (and have been accused of cheating in those games), so how would they have better "DM" than Seagull, Clock, the Quake guys + Dummy, etc? Are they implying these no-namers just come out of the woodwork and are godly?
By your logic the best aimers in Quake would be the best aimers in every FPS title and thus dominate in every game. Obviously this is not the case, everyone you mentioned as a god in a previous game got good or "came out of the woodwork" in that game bar a few notable names who do manage to span titles. The key thing to note though is that transitioning skill across titles is an achievement, not the norm. Normally new titles have new top talent.
well that was a surprisingly effective bait
he's shit at worms though
downnpourfirst they slay b4nny, now they take nameless, only sideshow can stop them now
we already beat them, wasn't a problem
Neither of them do, there isn't a single league in TF2 whose website is easy to use for new players. There's a ton of pug sites that are simple to use, guide websites, news websites etc. but leagues always manage to make the user interface convoluted.
My boys have got this in the bag.
ETF2L's problem is not aesthetic (though it does look old), the problem is that the design doesn't make the website easy to use for a new player to come in and find their info quickly, AND the way the website actually functions uses some hodge-podge wordpress plugins which are very limiting and counter-intuitive. The beta doesn't fix any of that, it's just like spray painting a turd.
