#36 Shooting at the Inland Regional Center in Off Topic

Mental health can also deteriorate after you legally buy a whole load of guns, screening will do nothing in that case.

Nonetheless I think that's a good first step, and I'm sure you won't give up your guns easily, but I think it has to be done at some point when these things happen all the time.

#118 TF2 update for 12/2/15 in TF2 General Discussion

Enforcing viewmodels to be used might be going a bit far since a lot of people customise that even, outside of the current comp community. I can totally see it happening though, and I won't be bothered at all if they implement the same system of skins supporting comp as they have in their other games.

#8 New Interview Series in Projects

A bit like that, yeah, but with more prominent people in the scene and with webcam visuals for both myself and the interviewee. I think that's the best option for visual stimulation at the moment, which seems to be the biggest thing missing from previous attempts to do this in TF2, but if people really wanted in-game footage of the person we could. I just think that would distract or not be relevant.

#5 New Interview Series in Projects
deykuzorA focus on making it different than fully charged and backcap is incredibly important. A lot of forum posts on tftv ask some very fun creative questions of the community that would surprisingly be very entertaining interview questions.

Yeah this would be different from backcap in almost every way, it wouldn't be about current material. And again rather than discussing topics as the main focus (like on FC) this series would be mainly focused on the player themselves and their history.

#1 New Interview Series in Projects

I'm going to be creating an interview series (along with a helper or two) with top players in the scene of all continents, similar to Reflections by Thorin or various other longer interview series.

The general idea is going to be around 30 minutes discussion about the history of an important player, what they've done, how they've developed and their thoughts on various topics.

Before I begin creating these and really formalising plans I thought it best to reach out and gather any ideas from the community on how you'd like to see these done. If you've any experience watching other people do these from other scenes and have ideas on how to make them better/more interesting/good for TF2 then speak up!

#80 DHW2015 GF: Reason Gaming vs. swedeRage*Essentials.tf*tf2pickup.net in Matches
kKaltUuHallowI'm interested in a 6v6 LAN at the DeutchLAN location as well if someone could get that going (I'd certainly help in any way I can, but my lack of both experience and money makes me less than ideal for organising something like this). I'd love for it to happen though.
If anyone is serious about helping with this, let foungi, stinson or me know. We're able to scale it up to 24 teams. Just need to find the proper management for it.

If they improve the network it'd be awesome for a big community lan.

KerchSideshowThe entire purpose of the event was to prove something to esportunited and sponsors at the event, and build from there. They now want to do bi-annual events at DH with much larger booths and sponsorship than this, so success. There are also a few companies more interested as a result, and an org taking it all bigger. This event wasn't really for the viewers, it's to make our way onto a platform where we will have those viewers.
Do you think that hosting ETF2L playoffs this way could be realistic?

The dates for DreamHack summer are a little odd, and it would leave the spring etf2l season with no lan finals. It's something to consider, but unlikely. The main reason is that you would only know a few weeks before the event if you were going or not. The large advantage for planning lans in advance is booking things for cheap.

#3 dreamhack thanks thread in LAN Discussion

big thanks to turbotabs for sorting out houses and generally being the dad of the group

shoutout to our awesome production crew for dealing with the intense challenge head on and putting on a show in a 2m square box

I'm very appreciative of everybody who contributed, but special thanks to those two.

EDIT: Huge thanks to ondkaja for being such a good guy, wouldn't have made it without his PC, which I didn't log out of! Also, I upvote every post I make.

btw that was my opinion on ondkaja's account, I'm sure his opinions are far less coherent and revolve mainly around the ability to outstrat people on granary

Red_TF2 doesn't have the real league density and amount of teams I think would make it work tbh. It's awesome for dota and csgo though

I dunno I found it fun, but not many people used it.
