Second time I put this here.
When spies are not fully invis for example:
*Cloak ran out
*You are on fire while cloaked
*You are cloaked and get bumped by someone
My game just, explodes(lelno), it just drops fps, really hard (from ~120 to 30 or less). What causes this?
Doesnt matter where on earth is that spy, if its on the same server I'm on, I drop fps.

kanoni have this issue as well and i solved it by not playing highlander ever

Paladin_IMSI get this problem as well, but it is even worse if they are on fire or covered in jarate while invis

But! No it is not. It is horrible to play on pubs with 20 spies on both teams.
Basically, everytime a spy decloaks, doesnt matter if I am on borneo and he is on badwater (ofcnot) I lag, I get a small but bad lagspike. It really messes me up on HL, you are already on the middle of the fight and then your spy and their spy cloaks and I lag. (yes this works both ways)

When you type mat_dxlevel in console what does it say?
Have you tried -dxlevel 90, 95, 98 or just 91?
when I type mat_dxlevel on console it says mat_dxlevel81
I have tried 90, 91 and 95, I do have cloud sync enabled (that may be it), and let me check the console
I have tried everything to change my dxlevel from 81 to 91, and it just wont change, already tried the launch options, I have checked my cfg, and nothing.
I have played with him for 2 seasons now, he gets ass whooped by me on MGE (actually the other way around), he's cool, and pathetic (:3).
