clockwork: winston was actually created by blizzard as a response to alfa, who repeatedly called people uneducated apes on twitter

also sucks that we didnt even get to try the high bandwidth mode in private matches to compare/see the effects of various tick rates
Golden111Just awful.
I'm sorry but it's my opinion.
you are most certainly entitled to your opinion but just saying "i think it's bad sorry guys" doesn't spark any useful discussion
Segnolack of a killfeed
was an option in settings to enable
Segnosnipers are easy to play and can do a lot for the team
despite being true this can basically apply to most of the classes in the game
anyway, personally i think that the $40 pricepoint is pretty steep for what they're offering on release and that either a $15-20 entry point or some sort of f2p/microtransaction model would have been more appropriate. dropped like 20ish hours into the beta and it was overally pretty enjoyable in groups of 3+ but when you just queue with one friend or solo queue the downsides of heavily team reliant/class based games really start to show when people just dont want to work together to make a coherent team or just want to do whatever they want and/or are not willing to listen
and being a blizzard game there probably will be no community support in terms of servers/etc. presumably so if you just want to mindlessly play the game (like people do in tf2 when they go dm/mge or valve/skial pub or something) you don't have a whole lot of options aside from playing against bots?
the feeling (read: not gameplay) of playing this game during beta was pretty similar to that of dirty bomb in that it was relatively polished and developed with some amount of integrity but competitively i think that overwatch won't be any more popular than HotS once the release hype dies down
i feel like numbers would help for thresholds that are abit more specific eg letting a mccree know that x class is <70 health for a revolver one-shot aside from trying to determine it from a visual health bar where they may or may not be able to be one shot which could determine whether you should chase a mercy or something
also can help with lucio ults to help distinguish when it's starting and fading because for example as roadhog you might want to wait until the lucio ult fades to a certain point to go for a hook because i've personally thought the bars were back to what they normally looked like for some of the light classes and went for a hook only to see that they had like 100 more health than i thought
i feel like they could at least state how much damage weapons do somewhere in the game officially like somewhere in the hero browsing menu thing
as to how they would implement them as not to look like trash (stock tf2 damage numbers ahhhhhhhhhh) or overly cluttering/distracting/complex i'm not entirely sure
HardingoWhen did health bars replace damage numbers. still a fun game
"tracker took 3/4"
i think this is a pretty interesting point that hasn't been touched on a whole lot in this thread, concerning how damage numbers are non-existant in this game and you have to use (at least from what i could find) spreadsheets that may not be 100% complete/accurate
currently have a 4690k that idles at 60ish and jumps to high 70s on stock cooler and stock clock speed, looking to spend maybe 20-40 on an actual cooler so i can overclock, what do you guys recommend? had a 212 evo on my old phenom build and apparently people say its still tried and true but are there any better alternatives nowadays?
e: for further clarification i am using a nzxt phantom 410 case so any size cooler really should be fine
thought this was another stoper post
Platinummccree flashbang should have a bit more range
oh no
Platinumand just blind you for one or two seconds but still allow you to move.
ok thank god
ShdSteelthe301stspartanWhy did we go to the moon?ShdSteelHyped for ordering 2-3 of those 1080s in June. I believe they are set to be available for order during computex. I'll be in Cuba but I'll be sure and stay glued to my phone screen watching computex not only for the gpus but the new i7s as well :P
3??
i dont think opting for 3 gpus where some amount of statistical information available about its often diminishing returns is comparable to the concept of sending people to the moon for the first time
you've done me well 7870, but theres a new xx70 now
priceline for it seems pretty decent so pretty hyped to upgrade when it drops
for anyone else with the same issue, running OBS as admin is another solution for some
