yeah sheep didn't really have much success in cs, he played for what was at the time the ~4th best team in aus, but didn't really improve/put in the time from what i heard. Doesn't play anymore, or at least not for them

eugh that article is atrocious
i can see why they're looking for a new one
i feel with i55 coming out before matchmaking, it'd be much better to have a bigger i58/equivalent event. Once people have an idea of matchmaking then they can see the best of the best from the streams on the main menu! The exposure post matchmaking update will be so much bigger, so if there's a decision to be made between putting effort into i55 or i58 then imo i58 should be our top priority. Obviously if a team feels they can go to both i55 and i58 then go right ahead, but if you can only do one/have to fundraise, maybe waiting for the next one would be best
TheEvilSpySmithsoniani can't think of any prominent tf2 youtubers that are against competitive
hopefully they'll bring in some more interest to it
I believe I saw Muselk once say on reddit that he doesn't particularly care for competitive. If I recall correctly, I think he doesn't like the item limitations, or simply the meta, for 6v6 or highlander. He'll probably still be supportive of matchmaking though, or at least I hope he will be.
nah muselk likes it
he played 2 or so seasons over here, doesn't play it anymore cause it's not his thing but he enjoys watching it.

Larned said that Valve’s merchandise people were “very supportive” of the possibility of esports-related in-game Team Fortress 2 merchandise, like the signed in-game weapons and items Dota 2 and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive players sell to their fans.
Fuck yeah
having this for multiple regions would be amazing (i just want my name on things ok)
hey riot the prizepool was completely community funded, you could have pitched in if you wanted it to be bigger
anyway keen as, though i'll probs be coming home fucked from a friend's 21st when it starts
AlkalineHow long do I have to claim any won items? I bet on the Aussie Prem finals but I probably won't be up to claim anything until a few hours after the match is over.
note: these were not finals but actually the very first prem game of the season
yea rumour i heard is that it might be vox dizzy (from chiefs).
amazing grand final, buttcheeks were firmly clenched for loads of that last map.
btw anyone know anything about item value, I got a souvenir from the grand final (a grey nova lmao), no clue if it's worth anything or not
some nice frags, good smooths and music, but the slow-mo in every frag was really jarring.
Overall a good vid though, nice job
ChaChispeaking of insomia series at i52 Harbleu makes one of the most clutches play ever against the Aussies. The whole game is pretty good too.
pretty good is an understatement, imo this is one of the best/most entertaining games of tf2 ever played
thankyou for your input riot
i don't think most people care THAT much about the format of it as long as it comes out. Obviously something fragumentary-ish with tagg's vids + frags would be pretty sweet, but i certainly wouldn't mind if they were released as two seperate things or something if whoever makes the video doesn't have loads of time
i doubt it considering how much time they put into the last one
the only info regarding a i52 vid was huhy posting a screenshot of a DICKTONNE of clips that he'd already started working on but then had to stop work cause his hard drive wasn't big enough to make the video
to be perfectly honest as much as i'd love to see aussies at i55, if it wasn't iM i most likely wouldn't be interested in donating. No clue if they're going though, really want to see them give it another shot after how good some of the games last year were.
on another topic will we see an i52 frag vid before i55? Cause if huhy is still claiming lack of hard drive space as a factor maybe the project should be passed on to someone else if someone is willing?
