KrocketKarmaI'm so torn on whether to get this mouse or not. I think my current one is close to dead.
join ussss
Fists of Steel whipped Heavy, Short Circuit + Pomson Engie and Quick fix healed Powerjack Pyros please. If we're gonna show Valve how dumb some most of these unlocks are, we may as well go all the way.
_KermitTO anyone that uses a low sens, have you had any problems hitting the max m/s with this? I've been getting more and more problems recently with my FK spazzing out when rocket jumping/making 180 flicks. It's annoying me to the point of thinking about just getting a new mouse.

I run an 11 inch/360 (28cm) and I never hit the max perfect control speed. It was seriously tough to move the mouse as fast as I did in the Enotus test. I use a Steelseries QCK Heavy.
maybe pyro class isn't the devil after all, sorry cole
When I cap a point in Payload, this animation plays in the top left corner and for the life of me I can't find the file that defines it. I've searched in the hudanimations file to no avail, I'd love for some help to disable it.
80 fov literally gives me motion sickness, in any first person game
shruggerSpannzerMy box didn't come with extra feet :/glisslod seems really high, mouse feet (are they hyperglides?) seem to be spaced awkwardly which can cause the mouse to "rock" - other than that no complaintsThere's an easy fix for the rocking, see post 118
it's so light aaaaaa
Damn, that's unlucky :(

Ok, I've got mine (ordered via Amazon). It's amazing, no glaring issues so far. The cable is stiff but I have a ghetto bungee so it's not a bother. My one and only issue is that when using the mouse the rear of the mouse caused the whole thing to tilt up sometimes, making it feel unstable. The mouse comes with four extra feet in the box, so I used one to solve this problem (the added foot is circled):

Sorry for the shit quality, but you get my point.
9/10, amazing mouse; definitely my new main mouse.
Oh, and you've probably heard this a thousand times but holy shit it's light. It's also really comfy to use; the materials feel great.
EDIT: Size compared to a Deathadder 2013
Can't wait to see how you do, I might stick around to cast/help out after I'm finished taking a break.
It's fairly big news because his videos really helped pull a lot of players in from pubs, this is kind of sad.
truktrukSpannzerI personally use the startup sound for Big Picture mode for message notifications; it's nice and smooth so I don't jump about a mile when it's 1am and I get a message while half asleep.
BP sound file: Steam\tenfoot\resource\sounds\activation.wav
Make a copy of it and name it message and stick it in Steam\friends and you're good to go
I tried this and it didn't play a sound at first. I restarted Steam and the file was overwritten with the default noise again. I tried again but made the sound read only, and it worked. Then I restarted Steam and the file was overwritten again.
If it's possible I think you're leaving out an important step!
Sadly you have to replace the file each time you start Steam, I've just made a batch file to make copying the file easier though. CHANGE THE FILE DIRECTORIES TO FIT YOUR SETUP.
•Make a copy of activation.wav and place it on your desktop
•Rename the file to message.wav
•Open Notepad/Notepad++ and copy this shit in:
@Echo off
xcopy /y C:\Users\Owner\Desktop\message.wav E:\Steam\friends
•Save the file as replacerino.bat
Run the file after starting up Steam and you'll be using the custom one.
You didn't have to do this before; an update in 2013 broke Steam sound modding 8(

Edit: fuck i forgot steam broke sound modding, see post #16 to use my workaround
