ErenJayHow can you be a drug dealer
Buying drugs in games isn't addictive
Also imagine if you were just going about your normal life and having a job and then someone kidnaps you and the rest of your video game experience is just being trapped in a basement. Fun times
Also can I start a career in esports
Maybe if drugs were kind of a second currency that can purchase certain illegal things that regular money can't? (like illegal guns or whatever?) Other than that it'd be hilarious if they made it so drugs would actually make your character high so the screen warps and shit, but the more you do the more your character needs them to fight off withdrawal sypmtoms.
All in all the game seems like a cool concept, but I doubt it will deliver as well as most would hope.
WARHURYEAHAnd the people complaining about servers, bugs etc. on day 1 were fucking annoying, it's early access ffs!
Literally Reflex all over again. :(
gr8stalinBeen itching to play this or cpma because I'd rather not play TF2 for a pub/fun game fix but both are pretty dead for their own reasons and I'd rather play with someone who's not a complete stranger. Down to duel, CA, ctf, etc, open to anyone who's legitimately looking to teach someone ins & outs of dueling, hit me up.
Yo, I'm EU but I'd be happy to teach the basics of duelling, movement and whatnot. I get home at 1:20pm BST on weekdays. I love helping newcomers to RFX :>
Hi, I'm just a poor Welshman who can't afford to put fresh skins on the table for my family

literally six minutes of spamming pipes to the same choke
He was using the force to change the direction of the rollers so they did maximum damage to the poor unskilled peasants that dare dream to attempt to fight the one true Pipe Jesus.

he sure got our jimmies rustled right fellas
Just when you think we've seen all the retardedness this game's community has to offer (Axiomatic, 99% of people on /r/tf2, tftv shitposters, etc) this guy comes and takes stupidity to a whole new level. Holy shit.
Don't ever mention Pyro, Sniper, Spy or Engie and you'll be golden.
Also, welcome! :>
Comedianfatswimdudewill there be emotes?
Yes
Platinum face emote please
m0nkeiI would not say that the skill ceiling of Overwatch is "crazy low" just because of the trailers. I can understand that in the gameplay trailers, the movement of the characters look pretty basic, but i think it's just to show the abilities of the classes, and not what you can actually do with them. Like you don't see the crazy b-hoppings in the half life 1 teaser or the crazy movements in the quake 3 arena trailer. We should wait for the game to actually come out because judging it.
Push button to receive free height advantage for zero penalties seems like a dumb mechanic aimed at casual players; which is fine, but it does lower the skill ceiling quite a bit.
Also Reaper's ulti for example allows him to be invulnerable and it auto aims increased damage shots for a set duration of time, which boils down to *push button to receive 4k*. Skill my arse.
A lot of characters have dumb abilities and design choices at the moment, I won't bash them too much as we haven't even got an open beta to form opinions on.
People look at some of the ultis and think "well the medic can make you invulnerable, deal triple damage and loads of other stuff!" but that's a poor comparison imo. Take 6s for example. A Medic can count Uber to judge roughly when the other team will have their charge, and if your Scout or whatever sees them run Kritz then you take that into account and play around it. In OW every character has an ulti that charges based on damage dealt, making it pretty much impossible to use your gamesense or anything to judge when their Reaper can fuck you over, or that jetpack chick can gain height for free and rain down a metric fuck ton of rockets that make the Beggar's Bazooka seem as precice as a laser. It's like trying to tell whether or not a Buff Banner soldier has his charge or not, but everyone has one. The skill ceiling is crazy low imo.
Skill ceiling is crazy low, and it seems as competitively viable as rock paper scissors. It might take some of the casual pubbers away from TF but I can't see it being more than a pub game.
