#2 computer just blew up in Hardware

Maybe you blew out your power supply? It might be caused because you didn't have enough watts on your power supply, or maybe you just have a bad power supply.

#45 How do you keep TF2 fun? in TF2 General Discussion
Nin2246how does one stay hooked in to tf2 for more than 50 hours a week?

thats a ton of fucking tf2
Just like 8 hours a day or so... I have no job, but I have a girlfriend and a social life so don't be thinking I am just a hot pocket eating machine.

Came up with an idea, I like to program/ hack and what not, so why not make an aim bot.

I do not like aim bots nor do I think they take any skill, but I do wish to know how to make one for shits and giggles.

8 HOURS A DAY. That's not a lot at all.

I agree. I probably wouldn't be playing TF2 anymore if it wasn't for the fact that I've mained every class at one point or another.(Yes, even heavy) Also, there are still some pubs that I really enjoy playing in. For example, the critsandvich servers usually have some good people.

#44 books to read in TF2 General Discussion
heinI just finished a book a few months ago called Ready Player One. Its based in the near future where everyone is hooked into VR machines to get away from the desolation of the world. A billionaire that founded the company left easter eggs in the virtual world and whoever found them won the company.

It's FULL of gaming references, 80's trivia, etc. It was an incredibly fast read and the characters were all pretty great.

I really liked that book, just I felt the ending was pretty much rushed. Like you find out his best friend is actually a lesbian girl, but then they basically don't talk for the rest of the book...

#65 Growing competitive tf2 in TF2 General Discussion
vanillaquestion
I still watch competitive games, still love it. But I don't think I'll ever take part in a lobby again. If anything, I COULD deal with the fact that I'm doing bad. But I don't want to screw over my team everytime I play, it's just pointless.

I've heard about lobbies sometime being labelled 'newb lobbies', which I assume are lobbies for 'pubstars' like me who sucks against average lobby players. But I haven't seen one in the few days I tried that stuff.

my two cents, I guess.

I know what you mean, but I feel like lobbies are probably the worst way to get into comp. These newbie mixes (Rays Fire host pugs for newbies, the NA Newbie mix, and there's a Highlander Newbie mix group starting up as well) are SO much better as there are patient coaches and players that are all trying to learn the game as well.

but that shit's intimidating. You have to talk, you have to comm, and people are asking why you didn't do stuff all the time.

duderWe'll never let Shlaner in there, Sal. He'll just mess it all up, just like everything he's ever done in the history of his life. Such a disappointment.

SO mean.

infinite-2 soldiers, 2 scouts, 1 medic, 1 demo 90% of the time?
38% decline in # of esea teams between this and last season?
50,000 people all over the world play TF2 and only a small handful actively play 6s?
cevo HL league tried using esea weapon ban list and 5 teams joined

its easy for folks to criticize ugc but they don't also ask the tough questions about why 6s never really took off

???

Hey yo. ESEA open stats for the last few seasons.

Notice a pattern? No.1, 6s teams have been increasing. NO.2, they tend to follow an up down cycle.
I'd also like to note that UGC 6s division has jumped to 186 teams shortly after a switch to ESEA rules? Not only that, but the people that I know in charge of UGC 6s division actually seem to have a good reputation among the people I know.

He said it himself. All a HUD does is make it easier to look at the information. Similar to a crosshair changer or turning off viewmodels.
