Added you for roamer. I'll talk to you tonight when I get back home from work.
Banned Weapons:
Medic
Amputator
Solemn Vow
Kritzkrieg
Quickfix
Vaccinator
Vitasaw
Soldier
The Beggar's Bazooka
The Black Box
Rocket Jumper
The Liberty Launcher
The Cow Mangler 5000
The Buff Banner
The Battalion's Backup
The Concheror
The Reserve Shooter
The Righteous Bison
Bumping again, my team died and I'm looking again. I'm mainly wanting to find a team as Roamer, although I'd be open to playing Pocket and Medic as well.
SalamancerWhat were the stream viewer numbers like?
Solid 2000 all day, reached 3200 during HRG vs. Mixup.
HRG
Mix^
FT
CC
Mixup will come from the lower bracket to force a 2nd Bo3, which HRG wins 5-4 on the 3rd map.
downpourSetsulHe always seems to go for the pocket instead of the medic in the demo. Nobody knows why.
this is whats throwing me off in these clips.
he'll see half a team on grey including the medic (3:51), and then shoot the jumping demo that is of no threat to him
bizarre.
Shooting jumping demos makes for better frag vid material.
Try setting using the command "cl_interp .1" It tends to smooth out most demos, and also STVs if you're viewing those live.
ESEA LAN will be casted on www.twitch.tv/ESEA_Orange if I'm not mistaken.
Gullywash last is a fortress.
I like to think of these maps as a tier system where we can rate maps appropriately.
Top Tier: These will be staples for seasons to come
Badlands
Process
Granary
Good Maps: These are the solid options we have that probably won't be going away anytime soon
Snakewater
Metalworks
Gullywash
OK Maps: These are good for playing in a season, but could be beaten out by better new maps. These can be rotated out from season to season.
Viaduct
Gravel Pit
Possible replacements:
Yukon - Mid and 2nd are pretty good, and maybe last won't be as bad as it used to be with newer playstyles. Teams have gotten better so it's possible that we'll be able to attack it easier. I always hated playing it when it was in play years ago, but I'd be willing to give it another chance.
Edifice - This is a new map that I got a chance to play in the new map pugs. It seems to be a solid option with both A and B being equally defensible. It seemed to be really quick to me with almost every round being about 3 minutes or less, but that may have been a problem with the pug format instead of actual teams playing.
Koth_Ashville - I'm not entirely sure why this was removed in the first place, other than people not liking the KotH format in general. It would be a good option if we don't experiment with anything else.
Warmfront - The middle point is excellent, but everything after middle is a grind and hard to push on. We really don't need to relive all of the stalemates that everyone hates about other maps.
Other options: I don't know these maps as well, but I thought they could be included just as possibilities for others to think about.
Quay
Vanguard
Wetcoal
Freight
Standin
Personally, I'd like to see Edifice in place of Gravel Pit, or keep the same rotation. Metalworks seems like it works very well, and the changes Scorpio has already made improve it even more. It at least deserves another season.
It's been fixed. Earlier the START box was showing an incorrect time while the ETA and top bar thing were correct.
Bump. Still looking for tryouts.
Hello everyone. I'm looking for a team again after taking S13 off. I'm pretty much just looking for a chill team to hang out with that cares about improving.
I'm wanting to play med or roamer, and I can play both at a mid-high open level. I might also play scout at a mid open level if I get tryouts for that.
I'm located in CST right now, although I know that'll change by the end of the season. It won't affect my schedule though. I can scrim pretty much anytime up until midnight EST.
My experience:
ESEA-O S10 Slanted Eyebrows (Backup, all classes)
ESEA-IM S11 Genital Swarths (Backup, all classes)
ESEA-O S12 Power Rangers (12-4) (Medic)
