#1 Seed possibilities:
Froyo 1st: Froyo win and Full Tilt win, Full Tilt doesn't cover by 2 more than Froyo wins
Full Tilt 1st: Froyo loss and Full Tilt win, OR Froyo win and Full Tilt win, Full Tilt covers by 2 more than Froyo wins
Jasmine Tea 1st: Win
No clue what the tiebreaker is if Froyo and Full Tilt win, and end up with same overall round difference.
This is the 10th edition of Mixup vs b4nny's team in a LAN grand finals since ESEA S9 (that was September 24-25, 2011). B4nny's team leads 5-4 in those matchups. Mixup took ESEA S10, 12, 15 Grand Finals and i46 Grand Finals. B4nny's team took ESEA S9, 11, 13, 14, 16 Grand Finals.
Another good place to go is the #megaman channel on the SpeedRunsLive IRC. You'll find a lot of people there who would probably be willing to help you out. As for Cave Story, there's also a #cavestory channel that seems to have some number of people in it as well.
There's probably also topics on SDA that have some details in them, but especially for more popular speedruns, those SDA threads tend to be outdated at times. They can be really amazing sources to look at, but the best place to learn about your game is by watching other runs, especially if they're not the WR.
Really wish we could've seen Immunity and Froyotech play on Viaduct. Could've been one of the great Viaduct matches of all time.
Pretty sure you're an idiot and both the Aussies and Americans were getting a ton of support today.
b3b0pThat 2 year necro.
Worth it.
Can we just do a quadruple elimination, best of 7 tournament with Epsilon, Froyo, and Immunity?
That's easy. Just don't play music between matches. Only problem with that is dead air.
Top 3 seeds are gonna end up the same as last year unless Froyo can beat Epsilon on Badlands in the last match.
I guess you guys aren't used to having more than 1 good team in the scene.
Double post here, but people need to watch DK28's sub 10 Contra run. Perfection all around.

Not quite on the level of Cookye's run, but I got a new SoM WR today. http://www.twitch.tv/stingerpa/c/4790616
Sub 2 hours will be real soon.
There's a few places to find GBA players these days. eBay is always a good source since you can find (almost) anything you want there. SDA's trading post section is pretty good as well since the community is built around older things, and someone might be wanting to sell theirs off.
Just a note on emulators: you only need to run on console if you're wanting to submit stuff to SDA, otherwise it's up to your game's community as to whether emulators are accepted. Most NES/SNES/GB games can be accurately emulated (as long as you're using GOOD emulators), so there isn't much contention among those runners about "OMG he's using emulator ban him!" Some consoles don't have the same kind of support (N64, for example) so emulators are discouraged there. In my opinion, I'm completely fine with any emulator as long as it's equal or slower than the original console. That keeps the competition level, and won't ever punish you for running on the original console.
