Alright chaps,

My switcher worked fine, but then I changed mouse up to wep 1 and q to wep 2 and mouse down to wep 3, which works, but now when I play scout for example, when I switch to pistol and back to scatter it stays as my pistol crosshair and not my scatter one.

Anybody perhaps able to take a look and see how I've fucked it please?

Perhaps. And maybe I enjoyed it because I did well.

However, in valve comp I have had nothing close to it. Everyone communicating, teamwork, holds, pushes, uber exchanges, an even match and no silly weapons.

I've been wanting to get into comp for ages, and I finally saw what it truly is. I knew valve comp was shit and I knew what proper comp was and how it worked, but it was nice to finally play it . I think we'd get a lot more pub players joining teams if they realised this was sixes, not valve comp.

Played my first game today.

It was way way better than any game of Valve comp i've ever had. I guess my first ever game of proper 6s

I've always been surprised at how little customisation exists in TF2's core game.

I suppose people who are into the game can easily go off and do it themselves, but I find it odd that you can't have things such as different crosshairs for different weapons or classes, for example, without messing about with files and folders.

Team Fortress 2's beginning, rise, it's fall (or more lack of growth) and my concerns with it's future

Played Orange Box on PS3 back in the day, mainly for Half Life games. I gave TF2 a go.

Anyway I built a PC (my first desktop PC) in 2014 and looked at all the free games on Steam to download. This was mainly just because I wanted to get as many games as I could, but also because I couldn't buy many games as I didn't have a pot to piss in after buying the PC parts. I saw TF2 and remembered it being a laugh in Orange Box. I downloaded it and now I have 1000 hours.

It was actually the first game (except Total War games) that I used a mouse and keyboard for. I actually played Dishonoured with a PS4 controller. Derp.
